Primary Responsibilities Perform operational and administrative functions as it relates to program of study. Independently work on special projects as assigned by functional leader. Assist in implementing functional strategies and contribute to the team's success in reaching goals and objectives. Support the departmental deliverables and be proactive in planning and supporting tasks. Job Specific Responsibilities Hands-on experience with manual and automated equipment, under supervision of experienced technician or Supervisor using a variety of meters and tools. Practical application of technical skills in program of study. Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques in a real-world setting. The purpose of our internship is for the development of technical or vocational college students pursuing an associate degree in applied science in a technical discipline. A Pipeline Technician Intern will be exposed to a variety of pipeline and compressor station operations, pipeline maintenance and other project activities that will provide an opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace. This is a temporary, nonexempt position. Student currently enrolled in a technical or associate of applied science degree program from an accredited college.
