Document assets in Visio, including: Model, Make, Warranty information, and Firmware versioning
Ensure proper policies are in place to facilitate onboarding and offboarding of staff
Maintain templates of each position's security and email group membership
Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation: defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate to the appropriate vendor any issue as necessary
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
Manage network security policies and procedures
Manage annual testing of Disaster Recovery
Serve as lead technical advisor on disaster recovery planning and testing
Provide reports on network/server operational status to the Director of IT Infrastructure on a weekly basis
This position requires extensive, sometimes 24/7 customer interaction, and timely responsiveness to issues and questions
Be an active participant in the vendor process, including working closely with the Procurement department to monitor budgets and purchases
Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
Perform all other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Abilities
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows and domain architecture), electronic data interchange (EDI), and network domain architecture
Ability to perform technical tasks and/or lead team as the enterprise grows
In depth knowledge of server-based Windows systems
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows design
Strong knowledge of the protocols and tools for systems preventive maintenance and network
Extensively familiar with networking equipment to include firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless devices
Advanced server/network virtualization knowledge
Familiarity with Service Desk ticketing software, meeting SLA, and great customer service skills
Strong ability to mentor and instruct supporting staff
