The applicable base salary range for this role is $85,230 to $149,205. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. PURPOSE OF CLASSIFICATION
The purpose of this classification is to provide technical assistance and support to end-users both in-person and remote, resolve IT-related issues, and ensure exceptional customer service with a focus on Public Safety (Police and Fire) departments. They will handle work orders, diagnose network, hardware and software problems, and implement solutions to ensure Public Safety IT solutions meet the demands of modern Public Safety response.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE STATEMENT
Every City employee has emergency response responsibilities, though not every position will require routine assignments during an emergency event. All employees may be subject to recall around the clock for emergency response operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the normal work location, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official job description. Assignments in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature, with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically and operationally challenging conditions.

Education

+ Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in IT or technology management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., CIO, CTO). (Required)
+ Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation projects, particularly in the context of infrastructure modernization, automation, and data analytics. (Required)
+ Strong knowledge and application of cybersecurity principles and related regulatory requirements (e.g., NERC CIP, ISO 27001, NIST). (Required)
+ Background in utilities, electric distribution, or energy sector. (Preferred)
