Deploy cabinet rack mount PDU's. Install cable management systems to include wire managers and patch panels.
Rack and stack customer equipment.

Conduct carrier circuit maintenance.
Troubleshoot switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with Networking Group, as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Health Information Supervisor has the important task of maintaining all of the health information records at the Family Health Center. This individual will plan, develop, and administer the health information system consistent with facility policies, procedures, and standards of our accrediting and regulatory agencies.

Job Description
Works independently and within a cross functional highly collaborative team environment to provide advanced support and troubleshooting on a wide range of laboratory instrument-associated software packages.
Troubleshoots hardware and software issues, installs and configures new equipment, instrument-related software applications and version updates while ensuring both vendor and company-internal computer operating standards are met.
Creates/updates problem tracking records.
Monitors the installation of operating system and application security patches. Ensures security configurations are met and properly maintained.
Configures and monitors backup and recovery software for all complex and critical systems.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Kalamazoo Valley is seeking a full-time Network Analyst to serve as a member of our Information Technology department. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

This includes the network core, distribution and edge switches, virtual servers, recording servers, wireless access points, storage area network and phone systems. Manage the intercampus communications and connection to the Internet by working with communication vendors who supply Kalamazoo Valley's connectivity. Manage the backup of all Kalamazoo Valley operational data including offsite storage, cloud services and disaster recovery.
* Manage IT security for Kalamazoo Valley including firewalls, Intrusion Protection, AntiVirus, Spam Filtering, ACLs, and VPN connections. Responsible for account creation and management. Apply required server patches and firmware updates. Work with college departments to ensure HIPAA, FERPA, PCI and Federal Financial Aid compliances are achieved.
* Provide support for Public Safety that includes connection to Law Enforcement Information Network, fingerprinting system, eCitation for patrol car laptops, wireless in-car dash cam recording cameras. Install and maintain the video surveillance system cameras and recording servers at all Kalamazoo Valley sites.
* Manage the college telecommunications systems including a centralized phone switch at Texas Township Campus with 3 remote shelf systems located at Anna Whitten Hall, The Groves and the Culinary and Allied Health building. Manage the voicemail, automated call distribution and extension creation for all Kalamazoo Valley sites. Manage the call reporting software. Work with Kalamazoo Valley Department of Public Safety to maintain security phones and elevator phone devices.
