Assist the IT Senior Programmer perform functions to ensure the InformationTechnology infrastructure of the Tax Collector's Office has the capacity and capabilities to support the current and future needs of the agency. Work with internal clients to determine requirements, plan and manage the delivery of technical solutions to meet requirements; manage solutions development, recommend and implement systems to ensure the security of IT systems and data.
Hold client meetings, implement new projects, propose business solutions, and provide technical support to all personnel in an organization.
Work closely with other programmers, analysts, IT staff, finance staff, and managers to understand system needs and develop solutions within set timelines and budgets. Extensive knowledge and experience in programming, leadership skills, communication skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are required.
Essential Functions:
Develop and recommend plans to ensure that InformationTechnology capacity and capabilities are sufficient to meet the agency's current and future requirements efficiently and effectively.
Read, write, and debug program code. Prepare DATA STEPs for databases, diagnostics, and other large-level datasets.
Assist project leaders with statistical testing, and suggest new methods based on output.
Collaborate, research, and analyze to identify client objectives and specifications.
Comply with programming standards, company directives and legal requirements.
Prepare ad hoc queries for new business.
Provide technical and analytical support for internal and external stakeholders.
Carry out all support system upgrades.

Develop and recommend risk management policies and procedures to ensure the security, disaster recovery tools, backup, and redundancy required to limit risk of data and system losses.
Maintain current knowledge of Server OS, domain, AD, DHCP, DNS, Network topology, SQL Database, web design, IDE, AI, and Logic based languages and other applicable software and hardware.

With regard to corporate IT systems, the Senior IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting end-user devices for our multi-hundred employee base, on-prem and cloud infrastructure to support our clinical information systems (including a full imaging center, pharmacy and lab), corporate office IT / network infrastructure, a high-end medical clinic's IT and AV infrastructure, and the entire suite of software tools that allow our teams to serve our members in a secure and productive manner. The Role:
