The Manager, IT Category Management, is responsible for directing all sourcing and vendor contracting activities within the assigned categories. This role supervises staff engaged in the sourcing process for high-value and complex goods, services, or projects and initiatives. The incumbent focuses on reducing organizational costs by implementing effective sourcing strategies, tools, and processes. Coordination with third-party vendors, business owners, and the legal team is essential for the preparation, analysis, and negotiation of vendor contracts. What You'll Do
Manage staff responsible for the development and execution of sourcing strategies in one or more technology categories.

Guide staff in the development and implementation assorted bid documents and requests (i.e. RFP, RFI, RFQ); and manage status reporting and performance metrics of sourcing and category management activities.

Partner with stakeholders to develop business and sourcing strategy and source products and services using proven tools, processes, and analytics to drive and achieve business results.
Coordinate the evaluation and analyses of sourcing results from a total cost of ownership perspective, and provide optimization recommendations
Lead cross-functional teams responsible for complex vendor negotiations, including those that require specialized subject matter expertise, nonstandard risk mitigation solutions, and coordination of multiple arrangements.
Proactively establish and foster successful, positive working relationships with vendor personnel. Drive vendor engagement through formal and informal transactions.
Manage contract management function and facilitate effective collaboration with Corporate Compliance, Legal, Audit and Risk Management and other internal stakeholders for compliance activities to ensure regulatory conditions are met.
Develop new procedures, training, initiatives, specifications and recommendations for process or policy changes and improvements, as appropriate.

Your role and responsibilities

* 5+ Years Field service project experience with an electrical OEM, experience leading long term field assignments, and field quality assurance delivery focusing on procedures and implementation.
* Ability to travel 80-100% of the time within North America and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.
* Ability to develop and implement test, start-up, and commissioning plans with third party Cx agents.
* Experience leading start-up teams responsible for ABB and GE LV and MV electrical equipment, relays, and PRN networks preferred.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams of electrical field engineers and technicians as well as third party contractors preferred.

What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Technical Solutions Consultant within our Operations division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. This position will work directly with the Comdata Sales team, Project Managers, Technical Services, Product Development, IT and Customer Relations to effectively and professionally manage technical projects for large clients and potential clients. It provides both support in both pre-and post-sale by attending presentations, conducting technical overviews and consultation, product demonstrations, and installations/implementations. The ideal candidate is familiar with a variety of general technical concepts, software/hardware and communication protocols. The candidate also has an in-depth knowledge of the business aspects of Comdata, including detailed understanding of all products, services, practices and procedures.
The candidate would be required to work with internal/external customers and third-party partners to analyze and design technical solutions to promote the business needs of Comdata and/or the client. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Provide technical support, including programming of unique applications and reports, across all product lines as required. Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the Comdata System, including the transmission of all data types, real-time, batch, reporting and billing options. Provide system analysis and third party programming resource management support in integration of new products and migrating of existing products. Provide detailed technical support to third party vendors to improve their level of integration with our products.

Providing a consultative approach to customers based on industry experience
Working on new customer projects through design phase of new programs

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the job
Experience with supporting REST and SOAP APIs
Data mapping and transformation related expertise, exposure to data mapping tools such as IBM Sterling, Osmos etc.
4+ years of experience with implementations, client support, or customer-interfacing
4+ years of experience with supporting client technical needs
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, solid analytical skills and attention to details, and excellent follow-up skills
Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to properly communicate our product offerings and functionality
