Position Summary
As Lead IT Technician, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of the reliability and functionality of all factory information systems, including but not limited to computer hardware, software, networking systems, databases and manufacturing applications. You will manage core operational systems and provide specialized factory floor support. In this role, you will lead projects and administration of IT systems, standards and compliance.
Provide advanced analytical, technical and developmental support for existing and future factory computer related hardware, manufacturing data collection systems and business information technology
Evaluate, develop, document and maintain necessary in-house information and data collection systems
Install, configure, performance tune, administer and troubleshoot all in-house computer related hardware, software, database, network, communication and multi-media systems
Maintain reliability and provide continuous improvement of factory floor solutions to support the goals and key performance indicators of the manufacturing and distribution operation
Collaborate with all levels of factory personnel to plan, scope and lead projects that execute on business and operational objectives and provide effective, innovative solutions
Assist in training, coaching and developing technical competencies of junior IT associates
Ensure compliance and factory readiness for data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, security and authorization policies
Plan and coordinate local implementation of new and enhanced Nestlé Purina software and respond to users' requests for new and enhanced information systems using sound business judgment

The approximate pay range for this position is $63,000 to $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. The Information Technology Co-op / Intern position is designed to enhance a student's working knowledge of IT activities and related operations. The IT Coop will be a key member of the IT team, helping execute production/configuration of computers for new employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Execute production/configuration of computers for new employees (including acquisitions).
* Capture and deploy current processes/procedures as department job aids.
* Service level Infrastructure 1 tickets
* Manage/monitor IT company assets, e.g. inventory of build room, warehouse/store IT asset storage
* Jump in throughout the IT team (Dev, Customer Support, Application Support/QA and Infrastructure/Networking). We are an entrepreneurial environment, often projects pop up as we dynamically respond to the marketplace across all IT subdepartments
* Critical skill: have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
* Proficient knowledge of hardware, such as PC, laptops, printers, cell phones and scanners.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts.
* Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
* Professional attitude, motivation, integrity and the ability to handle confidential information
* Willingness to support company philosophies and concepts.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
* Current enrollment in an accredited college or university. Major: IT, Business, or related field of study
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier and filing cabinets.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear.
* The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle and/or feel; lift/carry up to 25 pounds, and reach with hands and arms.
* May require traveling to store locations.

Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester.
Purpose: To aid in the day-to-day operation of the MSJ Sports Information Office, and Athletics department
Duties & Responsibilities:
Mangement of MSJsports.com
Production of gameday notes and programs
Management of MSJ Athletics official social media accounts (twitter, Instagram, facebook, youtube)
Livestream setup and takedown for every MSJ home athletics contest
Communicate with stakeholders inside MSJ Athletics department and the sports information offices of our opponents.
Aid in gameday operations
Compile live statistics during games
Manage MSJ record books
Write press releases/game recaps for MSJsports.com and social media channels
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Currently enrolled student at Mount St. Joseph University
Sophomore status or later
Co-op eligible (determined by Career and Experiential Learning Center)
Ability to work independently, and meet deadlines
Well organized, punctual and reliable
Knowledge of different sports is a plus
High-level communication skills both written and verbal
