    PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Network Operations Manager is the primary person in charge of overseeing the Bank's network data centers. Manage and oversee network performance, routing & switching connectivity, monitoring and troubleshooting, maintenance of hardware and software and change management practices. MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB Provides direction to the Network Team by prioritizing, planning and tracking the progress of assigned work and projects. Partner with operational and other enterprise departments to understand and define business requirements to ensure the success of related core and ancillary banking applications and products. Responsible for strategic planning and implementation, helping ensure that the data centers remain ahead of demand interms of storage space, processing power and connectivity. Works with approved outside vendors to maintain the financial institution's operational equipment, systems and environments. Plan, direct, maintain and coordinate network maintenance and installations. Works with other IT Staff in designing, implementing and supporting an effective system access and security environment. Develops and implements an approved operational data backup plan designed to protect and limit the bank's exposure to data loss or disaster. Provides necessary training to financial institution personnel on operational and support topics. Performs basic security functions as required. WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor's degree in business or related field or Associate's degree with equivalent industry experience in supporting a bank's IT Systems. Experience with VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory and Cisco routing and switching. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a computer department. Working knowledge of operating and support systems. Working knowledge of the financial institution's vendor-specific operational systems and environment. Working knowledge of data backup, business continuity technologies and patch management. Ability to interact with and communicate with members of cross-functional teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems and suggest solutions. Ability to set and consistently meet deadlines and commitments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organization skills and attention to details.
