Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday Business Hours Shift Differential: 1st shift - N/A As a IT Infrastructure Manager, you will: Strategic Leadership * Develop and communicate IT infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational goals * Set and report on measurable KPIs for support operations * Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement * Identify and recommend new technologies to enhance productivity and security * Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends Team Development and Management * Mentor and develop IT staff, supporting technical and soft skill growth * Manage team performance through regular feedback and coaching * Promote a positive, collaborative work environment * Oversee support technicians to ensure high-quality customer support * Lead planning and integration of new IT systems and platforms Operational Oversight * Guide prioritization of tasks, service tickets, and projects * Ensure IT infrastructure is stable, scalable, and secure * Delegate technical responsibilities and empower team members * Manage and optimize the IT ticketing system and service desk KPIs * Implement processes for prompt resolution of support tickets Stakeholder Engagement * Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals * Act as liaison between IT and other departments * Represent IT in cross-functional meetings and advocating for end users * Serve as primary contact for IT support service escalations Vendor & Project Management * Lead vendor selection and contract negotiations * Maintain relationships with service providers * Oversee infrastructure projects from conception to execution * Manage incident response and resolution for infrastructure issues Security and Compliance * Ensure adherence to IT security and data protection best practices and regulations * Collaborate to implement security measures and review vulnerabilities Key Role Behaviors * Exemplify Millerbernd Manufacturing Core Values * Lead with empathy, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset * Demonstrate strong customer service orientation and drive improvements in support delivery Role Qualifications as an IT Infrastructure Manager: * Preferred candidates will have either a 2 or 4-year college degree in an IT related field, or relevant work experience. * Preferred candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience in network administration, software-as-a-service solutions, server management, communication technologies and leading teams, with at least 2 years of leadership experience in managing IT teams and projects * Experience as a team player that plans and executes to meet deadlines, while promoting a positive work environment * Industry certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), VMware, or CompTIA. * Experience managing hybrid cloud/on-prem environments * Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS). * Demonstrated ability to work with and influence key stakeholders and team members * Demonstrated ability to lead and work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment * Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language * Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities * Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment * Strong customer service orientation Technology We Use: The IT Infrastructure Manager is expected to champion the introduction and integration of new technologies to support evolving business needs.
