ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience in data center operations or IT support.
5+ years of experience in breakfix support, hardware diagnostics, and repair in enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency with CLI-based tools and environments (e.g., Cisco CLI, Linux/Unix shell, iDRAC, iLO).
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing server, storage, and network hardware.
Familiarity with network protocols and tools (e.g., ping, traceroute, netstat, SNMP, syslog).

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee Change and Release Management for the Aetna Line of Business (LOB). **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ 3+ years designing scalable, distributed applications using microservices & API-driven architecture.
+ 3+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
+ 3+ years' experience implementing best practices in observability, monitoring, chaos engineering, incident/problem management, and performance optimization.
+ 3+ years' experience of network security, firewalls, virtualization, and remote access.
+ 3+ years' of experience in change validation, post-deployment verification, and defining success criteria.
+ 3+ years' experience in Release, Change, Incident & Service Management, with working knowledge of ITIL.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. WSP is currently initiating a search for an Electrical Studies Engineer - Senior Technical Manager for our Boise, ID office. You will be involved in projects with our SCADA and Analytical Services Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.
This Opportunity
Provides subject matter technical support and leadership for multi-site/phase due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, improvement, design, development, and construction of utility, industrial, and commercial scale projects in the public and private sector. Tasks include the research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of transmission and distribution substations, power distribution, power regulation, renewable energy, as well as protection and control systems in a wide variety of contexts (utilities, transportation, building, and Federal, State, and local government projects). Provides situational guidance to PMs and managers that address current and future challenges, and that documentation and recommendations accurately account for and address risk, innovation, and future-ready opportunities. Provides leadership with ensuring that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.
Your Impact
+ Provide oversight with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, , substation components, equipment specifications for procurement package development and pricing, IFR/IRC detailed design and review processes, and IEEE, NESC, ANSI, NCEC, and NERC standards and regulations for design work.
+ Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques and processes to identify improvements for various infrastructure project phases involving more complex infrastructure engineering work including concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
+ Design Studies: substation grounding, corona and electric and magnetic fields, insulation coordination (lightning, switching surge, and contamination performance), transient (time domain) simulation, power quality (harmonics, voltage flicker, over/under voltage, etc.), motor starting, AC interference (transmission line interaction with railroads and pipelines).
+ Successful candidates must be willing to travel on occasion and work successfully in a customer focused, project-oriented environment
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
+ 10+ years of relevant post education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for capital projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution at a utility, industrial, or commercial scale.
+ Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
+ Highly proficient with electrical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
+ Highly proficient with making technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons to the appropriate regulations.
+ Must be willing to travel on occasion.
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Preference is given to applicants with any of the following: specific training and/or power system courses covering topics such as protective relaying, symmetrical components, transmission line theory, power system transients, dynamic stability, and power system electromagnetics
+ Professional registration is not required; however, preference is given to applicants who are registered professional engineers (P.E., P. En Preference is given to applicants with working knowledge and experience in more than one of the three technical disciplines listed and with experience using the applicable software packages for those disciplines
+ Preference is also given to applicants with experience in customer focused engineering projects in the technical areas above

Job Summary:
