What you will be doing
The IT Product Manager III is responsible for a portfolio of one or more existing products & services as well as creating and integrating new products and product changes. In this role, the IT Product Manager III conducts industry/market research, and in-life performance measurement to determine product demand, positioning, viability, and profitability. The IT Product Manager III works with other product groups to understand data or service sharing opportunities. The IT Product Manager III will participate in the Portfolio Management Team helping design and prioritize Business Epics, and will work closely with Product Owners to ensure Portfolio and Program-level priorities are addressed at the team level.
Assures the product team is pursuing a common vision Drives business value with a backlog and priorities. Partners with Enterprise Architect team to ensure product is compliant with ABSG standards. Works with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities (vendor management). Acts as "the customer" for developer questions Works as part of a team responsible for developing pricing and marketing of products, as well as, understanding legal and regulatory requirements Defines and accepts user stories. Works to pre-empt potential problems and provides effective solutions in reaction to the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes developed to support their portfolio of products. Be an expert with respect to the competitor products Updates the product regularly and maintains user usability of product. Defines the work to be performed in a given Sprint. Participate in creating business and architectural epics and work with internal and external parties to ensure product policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately. Acts as a leader within the company and an advocate of the product. May lead or supervise BAs in work efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.
