This business provides HVAC sales to a variety of commercial clients and maintains a variety of technologies that require day to day support in conjunction to working with an MSP for all desktop and IT storage needs. The role is based out of Waukesha, WI, includes normal M-F hours, pays $100K - $125K based on experience comes with a strong benefit/bonus program.
This key role will carry the responsibility of defining, mapping, and coordinating the critical details, structures, interconnections, and processes required for the successful design, migration, integration, and adoption of technology. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, this position works in close collaboration with company leadership, vendor partners, and team members throughout the organization to drive alignment, meet project targets, and support efficient adoption. In alignment with the CRM/ERP package, this role is the tip of the spear for all IT related matters to directly coordinate, organize, and support the organization with and through our MSP. Technology Lead: lead and own technology as project manager and systems owner from ideation, justification, partner evaluation, coordination, project execution, coordination, implementation, training, and adoption.
Functional Work Flow: Defines the required workflow to gain efficiency in operation with desired reporting outputs mindful of lightest touch philosophy.
System Mapping: Identifies and defines the various workflow stages and input requirements.
System Configuration: Builds configuration of system to generate most efficient input of variable data in support of collaborative work transfer among departments, quote building, order entry, system reporting, partner tagging, and potential external platform integration from 3rd parties.
Data Mapping: Defines how legacy IT and ERP data will correspond to data in the new system(s). Specific consideration assigned to data fields, formats, naming, and relationships.
Data Analysis: Evaluates quality of existing data. Identifies inaccuracies and duplicates with actions to correct issues and concerns prior to migration.
Data Migration: Monitors and manages the migration process to ensure quality of data, continuity, and functionality. Ensures that roles and responsibilities for migration process are clearly defined and adhered to. Ensures data backups are in place prior to migration to support recovery should an error occur during the process.
Business Rule Development: Defined roles, responsibilities, and access rules to be applied for operation within the new system.
Process Definition & Documentation: Maintains thorough documentation of processes, decisions, issues, and resolutions throughout the lifecycle of technology projects through implementation and adoption.
Reporting Definition: Assembles and defines needed reporting the business requires from organization CRM/ERP platforms to ensure available functionality is in place at implementation.
Project Milestone Tracking: Establishes project timelines, roles, responsibilities, and deliverable milestones. Effectively monitors, tracks, communicates, and reports on project progress and achievement of milestones throughout the lifecycle of the implementation at prescribed intervals.
System Testing: Develops protocols to test the system as early as possible in environment mirroring our production system (sandbox). Inclusive of migration testing, unit testing, functionality, relationship, reporting, and output.
