This role is focused on managing the quality assurance and validation of monthly software upgrades released by the vendor (Black Knight) for the Empower Loan Origination System (LOS). The Release Test Managers will be responsible for quickly analyzing release content, determining necessary testing scope, executing manual tests, and providing critical reporting to ensure the stability of the CNB platform after each update.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Release Analysis and Test Planning
• Release Note Review: Analyze monthly Empower LOS release notes and documentation provided by the vendor to identify new features, changes, defect fixes, and potential impacts to existing CNB workflows and integrations.
• Scope Determination: Based on release analysis, determine the required testing scope for each monthly upgrade, focusing on high-risk areas, core business processes, and mandatory regression coverage.
• Test Case Preparation: Rapidly update, create, and prepare manual test cases and scenarios necessary to validate the changes identified in the release notes.
• Environment Preparation: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the appropriate test environment and required test data are available and configured for timely execution.
2. Manual Test Execution and Validation
• Manual Testing: Execute hands-on manual testing of the Empower LOS upgrade features, fixes, and affected business workflows (e.g., origination, underwriting, closing) within the defined timeframe.
• Regression Testing: Perform targeted regression testing to confirm that the new monthly release has not inadvertently introduced defects or broken existing, stable functionality.
• Defect Logging: Accurately log, prioritize, and track all defects identified during testing using the appropriate defect management tool.
3. Reporting and Communication
• Status Reporting: Provide concise, frequent, and timely reports to project stakeholders and management detailing test progress, defect status, overall release quality, and any critical risks identified.
• Go/No-Go Recommendation: Deliver a clear, data-driven recommendation on the readiness of the Empower LOS environment for production deployment post-upgrade, based on successful test completion

Primary responsibility is being the “voice of the customer” in OI facilities.
Responsible for managing multiple sales orders concurrently.
Upon sales order assignment by the C.O.M, share responsibility with the O.S.R and Est. to hold a Turnover/Kick Off meeting at the point of sale to ensure all needed information and paperwork are complete; that the scope of work is clear; review the estimate and confirm values for all items; and begins the process of scheduling the project with production to align with “Customer Ship Date” in AX.
From point of sales order assignment, the P.L. becomes the point of contact for the customer. They must ensure the customer is kept up-to-date from production schedule to on-site delivery.
Provide direction and oversight to all aspects of the project team: engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement and accounting.
Prepare any applicable change order proposals in a timely manner, whether owner/ client/ engineer request or by generation from OI.
Monitors the progress and status from the point of sales as it moves through the process, and acts to problem solve proactively, offers technical advice, and assists other staff to expedite assigned projects, removes obstacles which may cause a project to fall behind schedule.
Ensures a mentality of continuous improvement of processes and systems.
If needed, coordinate site visits and work with the customer to ensure that all issues that arise from the point of sale to completion of the project are resolved promptly, including but not limited to change orders, adjustments to schedule and collect information as appropriate to each assigned project. Identify and requisition special purchase items as required.
