AV has an immediate opening for a Subcontract Program Manager to support programs within Space Technologies Business Unit.

Responsibilities:
Lead effort to develop and maintain a consistent business rhythm with key subcontractors, ensuring that cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met.
Oversee the end-to-end subcontracting process, including RFP activities, negotiations, awards, and performance management.
Ensure subcontractor performance aligns with program specifications, including cost, schedule, quality.
Manage and release deliverables, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Subcontract Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
Lead programmatic and technical meetings with subcontractors and internal engineering teams, fostering clear communication and accountability.
Identify, forecast, and resolve issues impacting subcontractor performance, ensuring continuous progress and delivery.
Report project status and performance metrics to program leadership team and customers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience project or program management, and/or supply chain management such as procurement, subcontract administration, subcontract management and/or negotiation.
Experience supporting or managing programs, and/or suppliers in aerospace industry.
Ability to lead and direct the activities and resources within and across the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate, and summarize. Sound ability to communicate with the customer at all levels.
Knowledge of the Project Lifecycle from requirements definition, proposal preparation and negotiation and project implementation through to completion.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in ProjectManagement, Business Administration, or related field.
ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
5+ years experience in program management or supply chain within aerospace, defense, or other complex hardware system industries.

Develop, submit, track, and maintain all project submittals and requests for information.
Review cost reports and evaluate methods to reduce costs while maintaining productivity.
Responsible for the invoicing or payment application process for completed scope.
Contract Administration:
Prepare, review, and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
Work with legal to oversee contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good relationships.
Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:

Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution:
Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
Material and Quality Management:
Develop and oversee project material trackers based on customer Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and scope. Maintain material tracker based on inventories, production, shortages, and damages.
Monitor and control construction through communication with the superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
Execute corrective actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies.
Monitor the quality of weekly labor and equipment hours, material, and subcontractor reporting.
Ensure productivity, efficient use of materials/equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
Team Leadership and Development:
