Prefer working knowledge of electrical systems and the terminology used to describe them.
Reports directly to the manager of the department overseeing this work.
- Work with Purchaser's designated energy manager to understand the timing and capacity requirements for stations serviced by assigned utilities
- Guide EOR through initial communication to the utility informing of EV and DS load forecast
- Support EOR to request utility requirements, confirm utility engagement process, and confirm available capacity
- Support EORs to develop drawing sets for all sites based on the site list provided
- Support EOR to answer any utility questions on the requested capacity and design drawing sets
- Work with EOR to confirm expected utility design plan timeline and communicate to internal team
- Work with EOR and AMZL design team to develop an understanding of utility specs needed for approval of metering and/or MVSG
- Work with the energy manager to update PES Tracking (PEST Projects) with POR changes and project update
- Support CBRE to update EOR/AOR assignments and create trackers as needed in utility engagement Smartsheets (EOR Tracker, PEST Project, etc.)
- Work with EOR to confirm from the utility: Scope and estimated completion date for any offsite utility work, Estimated delivery date for any onsite equipment, Start of the onsite utility construction
- Work with the energy manager to support EOR to start easement description work, planning survey site visit and ultimately providing easement package to pre-con for landlord approval
- Facilitate internal review of easement package and ultimately provide duly executed easement package back to the utilities
- Facilitate and work with EOR to receive, internally review and execute utility contract. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure contract alignment.
- Facilitate internal review and approval of utility contract. Work with the energy manager to follow up on or remove any internal blockers that may be holding up contract execution.
- Support CBRE, where needed, in processing contract payments using upfront utility design payment/construction payments.
