The primary goal of the Information Technology Technician is to ensure the continuing functionality of Tarzana's mission critical software applications and to maintain computing equipment on which the applications operate. The position is responsible for the configuration, installation, and administration of specifically assigned mission-critical software applications. The Information Technology Technician receives supervision and task assignments from the IT Supervisor. The Information Technology Technician will set-up, install and configure hardware; support and troubleshoot software application and hardware problems; work with vendors; assist in the selection and evaluation of products and vendors; and handle day-to-day troubleshooting of certain mission critical applications. The Information Technology Technician will act as a key source of customer support for assigned applications.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
BS or High School Diploma and A+ Certification or 2+ years of progressive troubleshooting experience with network-based software applications. Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency is required.
