    Position Title IT System Administrator Division Information Technology(DIV) Department Information Technology Job Description This position is responsible to manage all aspects of servers with respect to services and performance while working closely with other IT staff to maintain uptime and service levels. Required Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred Experience: * 3-5 years of related experience is required. * Process management experience is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft server environment. * Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with cloud infrastructure management. * Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure system integrity and data protection. * Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and managing virtual environments. * Strong knowledge of networking protocols and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and experience with network troubleshooting in a Cisco Meraki environment. * Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or similar to streamline system administration tasks. * Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation. * Ability to manage IT projects, including planning, implementation, and monitoring to ensure successful project delivery. * Demonstrated expertise and working knowledge of technical principles, theories and concepts in field of specialization. * Ability to handle sensitive and complex issues consistently, confidentially and professionally. * Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and manage multiple tasks in a constantly changing work environment while paying attention to detail. * Ability to independently make decisions. * Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse population. * Ability to consistently provide excellent customer service.
