As the AV Technician, you will mix soundboards, play video recordings, enhance lighting, and coordinate graphics. Daily support for audio, visual, IT related troubleshooting and partnering with the events team to ensure lighting, sound, music and all other variables are set-up, secured and prepared prior to guests' arrival Respond to guest's needs in a timely matter and quickly provide solution or alternative option that can enhance one's experience Properly communicate, document, and advise on all project that are in process, complete or require outside support Maintain safe standards, in addition to a clean, organized, and stocked work area and consistent high-quality service throughout the property Monitor in house equipment and usage as well the presentation, preparation, repair and dispatch of films is effective, cleaning and maintenance of projection equipment, diagnose and solve problems, liaising with Service Engineers and Contractors as appropriate Operate Cinema in all film and digital video formats and liaise with clients regarding technical needs and assist in presentation set ups within the Cinema and areas of the property Liaising with in-house couriers, print managers and keep up with technical developments in relation to cinema and multi-media equipment, systems, etc. and technical training opportunities. Required Skills/Qualifications 1+ years related experience, Computer Science or related Degree preferred. Detail oriented and ability to multitask, under pressure and trouble shoot quickly in a fast-paced environment Must be familiar with Digital Projection Equipment. Christie 35MM Projector, HD & Betacam. Dolby Audio Processors. Technically competent and confident to support computer, Internet, software and network security needs Experienced with AV lighting, sound, electronic, repair, installation of AV equipment and adhere to local process Flexible schedule to work night and weekends as needed Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of all aspects of all building Multi-media (including sound systems, DJ decks, mixing board & consoles, phone systems and IPTV infrastructures) equipment and technical specifications. Computer Science or related Degree preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands. Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others. Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds. Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
