General Description Northeast Paving a division of Vinci Construction USA is seeking an IT Support Specialist I position on the Technology Team in Nashua, NH. The IT Support Specialist role involves providing end-user desktop support both remotely and in-person, handling Tier (1-2) support tickets, and working on technology implementation projects.
Key Duties
Create, review and triage support Tier (1-2) tickets on a timely basis
Project work related to the implementation of new technology tools.
Provide end-user desktop support via remote support tools or in person visits
Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and effectively with users to understand their issues, provide updates on ticket status, and verify their concerns are addressed promptly.
Install and configure new computers, monitors, and printers.
Assist with system administration tasks, including server upgrades, updates, patches, deployments, architecture review / design and general best practices
Create clear, concise process and system diagrams and other supporting documentation
Coordinate with vendors to execute software and firmware upgrades
Attend meetings as required and provides regular and accurate status information to project participants/department leadership -follow management guidance and adherence to policies
Assist with other projects and tasks as required
Identify issues requiring escalated support and route to the appropriate team or leadership.
Identify recurring or unique issues, develop solutions, and verify successful implementation.
Document and/or update documentation for identified issues, solutions, and procedures.
Train and/or mentor junior team members. Share knowledge and best practices.
Actively participate in team meetings and feedback sessions.

Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

IT Systems Administrator

Information technology/support technician job in Concord, NH
New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) is seeking an experienced network and systems administrator to join our technology team. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance and repair of computer hardware, software, and cloud systems necessary to support the operations of New Hampshire Public Radio.
This is a full-time, exempt, on-site role based in Concord, NH, reporting to the Director of Technology. The starting salary range for this position is $65,400 - $85,000 based on experience. We also consider internal equity, among other factors, when deciding compensation.
Essential Duties Include:
Support, install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere 8, Microsoft Server, and desktop operating systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, outages, and system failures to minimize disruptions and provide technical support to users.
Support FortiGate firewall and Cisco Meraki switch infrastructure.
Manage Microsoft 365, Entra, Azure, and Intune environments.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Participate, implement, and maintain security measures on identities, network, compute, storage, and broadcast infrastructure.
Maintain CrowdStrike endpoint protection and vulnerability scanning.
Manage Veeam backup of on-premises and cloud resources and assist in developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
Participate in the assessment, specification, and implementation of hardware and cloud solutions.
Provide user and systems support as part of a rotating on-call 24/7/365 support structure.
Develop and/or maintain department procedures and documentation for applications and hardware.
Manage cloud phone and messaging systems.
Work with broadcast engineering team to support IP-based broadcast equipment and infrastructure; training provided.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree and two years of relevant experience, including in the administration of virtual servers, networks, and a variety of cloud applications.
Demonstrated knowledge of computer networking and switch configuration.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, Fortinet or SonicWall preferred.
Some scripting experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Diligence in managing system configurations, security settings, and documentation.
Record of providing excellent customer service.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
A valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full time, exempt position and the salary range for this role is $65,400 to $85,000 annually.

Hybrid to Manchester, NH: remote days Monday and Friday, onsite the rest.
Under the general direction of the VP/Leader of Corporate Audit Services, the Corporate IT Audit Specialist will report to and support the Corporate Audit Services (CAS) Manager in deploying an integrated audit process. As CAS co-sources with a third-party Technology Risk Advisory team for IT risk and audit expertise, this role will engage directly with Technology Risk Advisory management on all IT-related projects.
This role is crucial due to the heavy reliance on the integrity of digitally stored data, as well as the availability and reliability of applications and infrastructure systems in business processes. Additionally, this role supports CAS' data analytics and automation initiatives to extract meaningful insights to enhance audit procedures and the value of audit deliverables.
Essential Functions
Evaluate the design and adequacy of Business Process, IT General and Application Controls, as well as other operational controls around the IT infrastructure, applications, and Cybersecurity protocols.
Execute risk-based audit procedures for IT and Business Process controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Investigate and address complex issues and control deficiencies, collaborating with responsible management to develop effective solutions/action plans.
Provide technology-related guidance to CAS team members to progressively increase team knowledge of IT auditing concepts and techniques.
Leverage technology and automation/data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights and streamline audit procedures with increased audit coverage and efficiencies.
Conduct IT risk assessments and advisory engagements for new systems or upgrades, changes in processes and operations, data migrations, etc., and advise management on appropriate risks and control requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with IT business partners across the company - be recognized as a trusted partner and advisor providing quality insight regarding IT risks and controls.
Utilize the AuditBoard Connected Risk GRC solution to maintain and govern IT-related risks and controls, in addition to supporting CAS' role as gatekeeper of RiverStone's risk register and control matrix.
Leverage automation/data analytics tools to enhance audit work (i.e., Alteryx, SQL).
Experience
1 to 3 years of internal/external IT audit, Technology/IT operational risk management
Strong technical experience with Excel and Microsoft applications for analytics and presentation
Demonstrated experience supporting IT risk and audit projects across multiple business lines, including assessment of IT risks and the design and adequacy of mitigating controls
Working knowledge and experience with IT operations, cybersecurity principles, and emerging technologies including cloud-based applications and agile software development
Familiarity with the regulatory environment and how technology risks are viewed
Experience in the financial or insurance sector a plus
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business fields with an interest in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems, equivalent work experience
Preferred Education or Certification
Certification(s) - Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Internal Auditor (CIA); Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC); Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA); AuditBoard Certifications - desired but not required.
Candidate will have the ability to commit to obtaining a professional certification within 12 months of hire date.
Travel
Minimal. Examples may include occasional site visits to US Runoff locations, or Fairfax affiliates, as well as external training opportunities.
