About the IT Team:
Come apply your Computer Science/Engineering skills and knowledge while learning how all the pieces of infrastructure fit together to run a global organization. This includes computers, storage, network and cloud technologies. NETSCOUT is an independent software manufacturer in the network, monitoring and security space.
NETSCOUT IT is on the leading edge of technology, operating industry leading solutions including public and private cloud computing environments, hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) supporting software define data center services (SDDC), Software Defined Networking (SDWAN) and a high degree of abstraction and virtualization in our operational environment.
Basic Qualifications/Skills:
As an intern you will get to learn how the technology is configured and integrated, how we monitor all platforms for steady state operations and help improve Standard Operating Procedures and Administration of the environment as well.
We are also in the process of implementing ServiceNow to manage IT Service Delivery and Operations Management. You will be exposed to the planning and rollout of the industry leading IT Service Management Platform. It is used by many Fortune 500 and other leading companies.
In addition, you will have access to public cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and AWS as well as an extensive set of online training and knowledge bases.
Preferred Qualification/Skills:
Based on demonstrated skill and knowledge, qualified candidates may be responsible for public/private/hybrid server administration, cloud infrastructure and management of associated services. You will be exposed to a busy, rapidly changing operational environment. You may be asked to manage multiple tasks, and operational issues simultaneously. The NETSCOUT IT team supports over 30 locations worldwide. As a member of the team, this role will participate in ensuring the stability and reliability of global infrastructure services.
