Description The Tech Ops Specialist will work with other Tyler employees to ensure timely and high-quality support of applicable hardware as well as setup, configuration and shipping of new and add-on hardware purchases. It will require a high level of technical knowledge and good organizational skills. This position will report to the Support Manager. Responsibilities
Provide hardware support for Tyler-developed products for internal employees (demos, training, sales, testing, etc)
Work with Operations and Support teams to perform duties related to internal software and hardware audits, licensing, inventories and more.
Maintain constant communication with support Manager on status of projects, issues and maintenance tasks.
Setup and configure client hardware as a part of initial go-lives or add-on purchases
Work with client to facilitate repairs and warranty claims on hardware
Troubleshoot hardware issues for clients and team members.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments of hardware to clients
Manages open calls by identifying and prioritizing issues according to published policies.
Identifies and meets service measurements and metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Collaborates with other teams, departments and divisions with issues pertaining to Tyler hardware.
Contribute to company knowledge library.
Conduct training for end-users.
Follows documented Tyler Technologies policies and procedures.
Become a trusted resource by providing service that consistently demonstrates strong product knowledge and work ethic.
Evaluate the severity of an issue and determine if management intervention is necessary to address a serious problem in a timely manner.
Provide support in the various internal environments related to many Tyler Technologies applications.

Job Description Summary:
The Technologist - Laser Diagnostics & Directed Energy independently applies advanced knowledge of scientific research or engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields at the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex (BCDC). The laser diagnostics for hypersonics and directed energy research team at BCDC focuses on the maturation and application f novel energetic methods to provide revolutionary performance capabilities. The objective is to develop and implement laser technologies for hypersonic and directed energy applications.
The ALLEMO is a multipurpose laboratory that integrates a range of laser-based and plasma-based technologies to facilitate aerodynamic and aero-optic research and development. The ALLEMO facility employs laser and electromagnetic concepts to understand high-speed aerodynamics, laser propagation, long-range detection of trace hazardous gases, plasma-based methods for flow control, guiding of electromagnetic and laser radiation, and advanced energy conversion methods. The ALLEMO is collocated with the NAL, providing complimentary laser diagnostic tools to support hypersonic research and a wide range of other research capabilities that take advantage of the NAL hypersonic wind tunnels.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and conducts engineering research requiring independent judgement in the selection, and minor adaptation and modification of standard engineering and scientific techniques.
- Operate, maintain and oversee safety requirements for a variety of Class 4 laser systems including MHz rate pulse burst lasers, femtosecond pulsed Titanium sapphire lasers, Nd:YAG lasers, fiber lasers and dye lasers.
- Designs, analyzes, builds, and tests special-purpose equipment and/or instrumentation for research purposes in field of expertise.
- Applies an analytical approach to assist with development of a solution to a variety of problems.
- Demonstrates and applies thorough understanding of engineering methods, research protocols, assessment instruments, and data interpretation.
- Designs and performs engineering experiments, tests, and data collection to ensure data integrity, quality control, and protocol compliance.

Data Center Technician

About the role
We are looking to add a Data Center Technician to our growing Operations Department. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of miners and equipment and maintaining a clean working environment. This on-site position will directly support our data center operations at our Rockdale, TX facility.
Essential Functions
Perform the installation of computer equipment from start to finish including unpacking boxes, installing miners, pulling, and installing cables (Cat-5) in the appropriate server port.
Use hand tools to cut foam and install on racking.
Operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet to install and maintain miners.
Maintain the bitcoin miners by performing housekeeping tasks including pick up and disposal of trash, dusting, and sweeping the work area.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Working Environment
While performing the duties of the job, there can occasionally be exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Noise level is typically moderate to loud. Frequently working in all weather conditions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet on lifts and ladders.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to lift and move up to 50+ pounds.
Knowledge of basic tool use including: multi-meter, screwdriver, test-light, box cutter, wire cutters.

III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
