KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement, and manage network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Deployment and installation of workstations, hardware and software at client locations.
Driving to client sites to deliver goods and perform maintenance and troubleshooting as described above.
Driving is a core job function, and alternative transportation methods would not meet operational needs.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in an MSP environment.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) and routing/switching technologies.
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network security principles.
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
Proficiency in network monitoring tools and remote management systems.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or Security+ are a plus.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and participate in on-call rotations.
Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle in California and maintain a driving record that meets company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate printers, laminators, cutters, and other equipment to produce signs
Assemble, finish, and prepare signs for delivery or installation
Perform on-site sign installations (wall, window, vehicle, monument, etc.)
Load/unload materials and maintain organized production space
Follow work orders, quality standards, and safety protocols
Communicate with team members and occasionally with clients during installs
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications:
Experience in sign production, general construction, or a related field
Basic knowledge of tools, measuring, installation hardware, and ladders/lifts
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts when required
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required)
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship a must
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Education and Experience:

Licenses and Certifications:

The Network Specialist ensures that the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Health Agency (DHA) LAN/WAN provides all required services, by supporting the network infrastructure with on-site troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
Provides daily operational support for the LAN core and edge switches across the medical network campus
Resolves technical issues associated with network and routing protocols at all levels of the OSI model utilizing diagnostic and network administration tools
Provides overall network infrastructure support to routing and switching equipment, firewalls, and associated cabling
Plans, installs, and supports hardware and software upgrades, and resolves associated technical issues
Qualifications
Required:
Clear understanding of OSI Model Layers 1-3, to include TCP/IP, VTP, SMTP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and EIA/TIA cable standards
Must be familiar with firewall and VPN technologies
