This role is essential in ensuring the reliable operation and performance of large-capacity chiller systems and central plant infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair central plant systems, including high-capacity chillers (100+ tons), cooling towers, pumps, motors, valves, and associated control systems.
Perform major services and overhauls on centrifugal chillers (prior experience preferred).
Execute full-cycle commissioning tasks, including system testing, programming, start-up, and performance verification.
Planned and completed scheduled preventative maintenance for chillers and all related central plant equipment.
Assist the service team by identifying technical issues and recommending repairs from initial diagnosis through resolution.
Coordinate and perform rigging operations to remove, install, or relocate large HVAC equipment.
Respond to after-hours emergency service calls as part of the team's rotating on-call schedule.
Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed on time and comply with safety standards and company procedures.
Maintained detailed and accurate documentation of service activities and equipment history.
Build positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
Participate in scheduled safety meetings and consistently adhere to safety policies and practices.

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a journeyman-level HVAC or chiller technician.
Completion of a technical trade program or equivalent HVAC-related training.
Demonstrated experience in commercial and industrial air conditioning systems.
Strong working knowledge of large tonnage chillers, central plant operations, and HVAC systems.
EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues within HVAC systems.
