Key Accountabilities
Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for installation, turn-on, discontinuance, change in service, or change of address and processes same by computer.
Completes and mails contract forms, determines charges for service requested, and determines deposits, if any.
Frequently interviews customers and others by telephone to answer inquiries and complaints pertaining to bills, customer deposits, and accounts using a computer.
Frequently responds to complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures, such as low pressure or discolored water to designated departments for investigation.
Frequently determines appropriate sewer, surcharge, PSD, or O&M entities based on geographic data from CIS system.
Frequently determines from knowledge of distribution system who to dispatch in case of main breaks and other emergency service calls.
Frequently generates duplicate bills as requested.
Frequently handles inquiries received by mail, compiling information from customer accounting records for replies written by self and others.
Consistently interprets company policies related to customer service.
Follows procedures established by the company for handling customer service inquiries and requests.
Occasionally files records within area of responsibility.
Consistently completes an acceptable number of customer inquiries per day as established by the company.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills
General mechanical and plumbing repair and diagnosis preferred.
General computer skills, including computers, smart phones, tablets, and/or other handheld devices.
Experience/Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certifications & Licenses
Valid Driver's License and ability to pass motor vehicle background check.
Work Environment
Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
Lifting 50 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as spiral notebooks.

Field Tech- Power Systems Technicians or NETA Technicians are expected to perform service, test and maintain various types of power transmission and distribution equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: * Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and/ or high voltage (to 500kV) electrical systems. * Low, Medium and/ or High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing * Perform inspection, maintenance, testing and repair of transformers, circuit breakers and all related equipment - 45 KVA to 130 MVA, dry type and/ or oil filled. * Perform maintenance, testing, reconditioning and repair on circuit breakers - low voltage 480 volt (molded case and air-magnetic) medium voltage up to 15 KV (air-magnetic and vacuum) * Experience filling and working with SF6 filled equipment and gas insulated switchgear, desired but not required. * Test and inspect low and medium voltage cable installations. * Experience operating high voltage test equipment including Doble Power Factor test sets. * Perform start-up, troubleshooting and repair services on controls and transfer schemes. * Rotate emergency on-call duty and if called respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner. * All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance of all regulatory laws. * Other duties as assigned by manager. Primary Role
Provides general direction and oversight of electrical and mechanical proposals during planning/development of new or renovated plant and field projects. Performs other related functions and duties as assigned or as they become apparent and necessary. This position is required to carry out tasks with a minimum of direction. The person must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and ability to complete jobs with and without help from others.
Key Accountabilities
· Provide input for preparing and controlling local maintenance and preventive maintenance within established budget limitations.
· Responsible for all project electrical/mechanical work, including but not limited to installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, lighting, outlets, switches, wiring motors, motor controls, instrumentation installation and troubleshooting, SCADA system hardware maintenance, start-up testing control panel maintenance, and power tools.
· Capable of conducting duties in a safe, efficient manner that will ensure safety to themselves, co-workers and the public.
· Assist with implementation of standards, targets, policies, and plans to ensure the continuing and increasing operational efficiency effectiveness, and profitability
· Ensure that operations integrity (quality, environment, reliability, health, safety, security, etc) is maintained
· Implement effective reporting processes. Provide analysis and support to Production and/or senior manager with information required for various reports, budgets, and business plans.
· Follows Company's environment, health and Safety policies.
· Coordinates and communicates with project personnel as well as other outside entities to ensure operational reliability and environmental compliance.
Knowledge/Skills

Experience/Education
AS/BS degree or related technical discipline
7-10 years' experience in operations, maintenance operations, performing hands-on specialized maintenance work on operating equipment, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and computer equipment
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician
Travel Requirements
Travel required - mostly day travel
Certifications & Licenses

This position is responsible for performance and management of routine and moderately complex tasks and projects, record keeping, evaluation of test data, and responsibility for the safety of others. This position is qualified to provide guidance and can perform electrical power switching. Position, as directed, supervises large projects and multiple crews and can work independently. Individual performs complex investigations, tests, and evaluations, and prepares written reports as needed.
* Prefer experience with most of the following or similar: MCC's, Breakers, relay testing, oil testing, infrared scanning, performing start-up on switchgear up through 500kV class, etc. or training from the military (Army Prime Power, Air Force Electrical Power Production, NAVY or another related program).
* Knowledge of various industry standards such as: NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Inspect and maintain pumps, motors, SCADA, and controls in working order, troubleshooting problems as they arise.
* Rewire controls and replace electrical components.
* Program, install and troubleshoot remote monitoring systems.
* Troubleshoot and restore power to facilities.
* Make electrical repairs at company office facilities.
* Assist operations and maintenance personnel as needed.
* Repair and replace electrical components.
* Inspect and maintain electrical and mechanical systems.
* Other duties as may be assigned.
Compensation and Benefits:
* 401K of the first 6% of your eligible compensation is contributed to the Plan

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* 5 years or more of experience with electrical troubleshooting
* High School education or equivalent.
* Electrician Certification and/or License.
* A current and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
* Ability to operate motor vehicles, climb stairs, and lift.
* Ability to work overtime and on-call.

Work Experience
3+ years working in industrial, manufacturing, or utility environment and maintaining mechanical/electrical equipment to reliably and efficiently produce a physical product (liquid products preferred).
