Job Title: Operations Supervisor Reports to: District Manager Under minimal direction, the Landfill Operations Manager will be a leader responsible for the safe and efficient operations at the Arrowhead Landfill. At a minimum, this will include working with all landfill personnel regarding the disposal activities, scheduling personnel, coordinating equipment maintenance and repair, and improving the conditions of the site.
**Essential Functions** :
+ Plan and manage the day-to-day landfill operations that best utilize personnel and equipment.
+ Schedule and conduct safety meetings and document attendees and topics covered.
+ Ensure employees follow safety guidelines and perform duties in a safe manner.
+ Promote an effective safety program that seeks to prevent accidents, avoid injuries and recognize safe employees and landfill customers.
+ Provide input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
+ Develop and coach personnel to operate in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. Operate heavy equipment as necessary.
+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Within a division, the Operations Supervisor - Hauling Operations is responsible for supervising the collections activities in one or more lines of business (commercial, residential, roll-off (industrial) and/or container delivery and pick up) in a geographically dispersed area. The Operations Supervisor oversees drivers and helpers and works with the Operations Manager and General Manager to implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and budget achievement. The Operations Supervisor ensures adherence to all accident prevention programs and leads operations to ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, operating, regulatory, accounting, ethics, and other standards. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:
Safety
Understand and provide leadership to achieve and communicate about safety goals and objectives.
Work to remove unsafe conditions or situations from drivers' routes.
Work with the sales team to identify and eliminate any unsafe conditions on new route or for new customers.
Partner with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment remains in working order and in compliance with safety standards.

Efficiency

Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is a non-profit cooperative that operates state-wide facilities to generate and transmit power through the Georgia power grid, providing reliable power to more than 4 million Georgians. The Supervisor, Cyber Operations, will play a key role in GSOC's Security Operations department, including a focus on meeting NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements to ensure cyber security of the programmable electronic devices and networks digital within our Operational Technology (OT) network. As a leader of cyber security analysts, you will develop programs, processes, and people to ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards as well as to implement other cyber security solutions to protect the critical infrastructure for the electric grid in Georgia.
Responsibilities:
Manage OT security event monitoring alert response, initial triage, and escalation
Manage OT access provisioning and revocation of accounts and roles required for CIP systems, data, and applications
Manage OT vulnerability management and threat intelligence programs
Manage OT asset management program for Bulk Electric System Cyber Systems and Assets
Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their applicability to various cyber programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance, engineering, audit, and IT, to ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards and other cyber programs

Job Duties:
Supervision and performance management of staff, support of the processes and technology necessary for team effectiveness, and coordination of activities with other teams and departments within the FOC.
Lead efforts to develop cyber programs, processes and activities that meet strategic business and security objectives and enable uninterrupted business and operations activities.
Provide work direction and technical assistance to analysts in the Security Operations department. Take a hands-on role in mentoring, coaching, and developing other team members.
Develop, review, and implement programs and processes to ensure compliance with NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards.
Support development of programs and processes based on projects and collaboration with other GSOC departments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and security trends. Inform Manager, Security Operations on strategic technology and security planning.
Provide input to management on associates' performance. Provide input to management on annual budget issues and monitors expenditures to comply with the approved budget.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience:
Requires 10 or more years of experience with increasing responsibilities. Experience may include physical security, cyber security, network engineering, information technology, SCADA/EMS infrastructure support, managing budgets, or staff supervision. At least 3 years of experience must be in a cyber security role. Must also have experience with technical writing.
Experience leading, motivating, and developing a team of IT/OT professionals, preferably in a SOC environment.
Experience in asset and change management principles and practices.
Strong technical knowledge and experience with cyber security platform, applications, tools, and industry best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in regulated environments such as NERC CIP or others is highly desired
Equivalent Experience: Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Business, with at least 12 years of experience, with increasing responsibility, in electronic maintenance, cyber security, and/or information technology as described above. At least 5 years' experience must be in a cyber security role.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: Certifications in Cyber Security or Information Systems are a plus.
Specialized Skills: Requires strong technical skills and understanding of various security events across multiple operating system and appliance platforms. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changes in technologies, processes, and compliance standards. Strong customer service attitude. Strong analytical skills. Job Summary
As part of Dominion Energy's Electric Transmission organization, this role is responsible for managing a team focused on major equipment engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects, and field engineering activities involving Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), and other specialized equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing asset management criteria as well as the development and documentation of engineering and design requirements related to substation equipment and turn-key substation projects.
Providing operational engineering support, root cause analysis, and testing services for Dominion Energy substation facilities.
Supporting the standardization of EPC projects involving specialized substation equipment.
Aiding in the creation of training and/or guidelines for Operations and Field organizations regarding maintenance and response to system events involving specialized substation equipment.
Supporting the development of innovative solutions for substation equipment.
Managing relationships with key vendors to maintain and enhance collaborative efforts.
Coordinating solutions to complex engineering problems that may span multiple disciplines within Electric Transmission.
Facilitating collaboration and partnerships with universities, companies, engineering associations, and government agencies.
Maintaining the team's equipment procurement work management system.
Participating in PJM technical committees, CIGRE, IEEE, and similar organizations.
This position is located in Richmond, VA with a hybrid schedule as an option subject to business needs. Relocation assistance may be offered to the successful candidate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Directly related experience, typically 7+ years (Preferred advanced Electrical Engineering degrees may be considered in calculation of years of directly related experience). Experience in supporting or maintaining substation equipment or in equipment manufacturing is desired.
Research or Field Experience supporting FACTS devices such as STATCOMS, SVC, Fixed Series Capacitors, HVDC are a plus
2 year supervisory or team lead experience is desired.
Strong knowledge of engineering theories, principles, standards, codes, concepts, and their application to problem solving
Strong leadership skills with proven ability
Strong oral and written communication skills (includes technical writing).
Strong personal computer skills.
Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems.
Ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
Supplier relations management experience
In depth knowledge of various computer applications, with the ability to manipulate personal computer applications and perform engineering calculations using applicable software programs (e.g., Excel, etc.)

**Job Summary**

**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience**
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Directly related experience, typically 7+ years (Preferred advanced Electrical Engineering degrees may be considered in calculation of years of directly related experience). Experience in supporting or maintaining substation equipment or in equipment manufacturing is desired.
Research or Field Experience supporting FACTS devices such as STATCOMS, SVC, Fixed Series Capacitors, HVDC are a plus

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the production operations in the assigned department through the daily execution of processes and procedures. * Leads the work of hourly production employees to ensure that working procedures are followed in a manner that provides safe operation while maximizing quality and productivity as well as managing labor cost.
* Ensures that daily production schedules are met, and if not, captures the reasons for missing the daily plan.
* Uses daily Leader Standard Work to manage the process and quickly identify process deviations.
* Uses root cause analysis to determine action items to prevent reoccurrence of issues that cause gaps to standards.
* Must have experience in working on mechanical equipment/tooling.
* Should have the ability to trouble shoot/diagnose mechanical problems - especially on the Core making equipment.
* To supervise both production and craft employees to ensure quality cores are made, tooling is properly maintained and check at appropriate intervals.

U.S. Pipe and Foundry is seeking a Production Supervisor. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the production operations in the assigned department through the daily execution of processes and procedures. Ensuring the effective supervision of the assigned hourly employees engaged in the production process and focusing on safety, people, production, quality, and delivery standards of U.S. Pipe and Foundry.
Essential Functions:
Leads the work of hourly production employees to ensure that working procedures are followed in a manner that provides safe operation while maximizing quality and productivity as well as managing labor cost.
Ensures that daily production schedules are met, and if not, captures the reasons for missing the daily plan.
Uses daily Leader Standard Work to manage the process and quickly identify process deviations.
Uses root cause analysis to determine action items to prevent reoccurrence of issues that cause gaps to standards.
Must have experience in working on mechanical equipment/tooling.
Should have the ability to trouble shoot/diagnose mechanical problems - especially on the Core making equipment.
To supervise both production and craft employees to ensure quality cores are made, tooling is properly maintained and check at appropriate intervals.
Ensures that work is conducted safely, that safety rules are adhered to, and that work areas are maintained in a safe and orderly fashion.
Conducts regular area safety inspections and 5S audits.
Investigates incidents fully and documents in the accident investigation system in a timely manner.
Ensures that any corrective actions that arise from accident investigations are implemented in a timely manner.
Communicates frequently with crew members to maintain awareness regarding unsafe conditions and behaviors.
Maintains open communication with assigned crew on a daily basis to address any safety, quality, production, maintenance, housekeeping, or personnel issues.
Uses Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to understand sources for driving performance and work on improvements when results are not meeting targets.
Ensures that production equipment is set up properly and is maintained in good operating condition.
Ensures that all material and equipment required to perform daily work is available.
Maintains direct contact with maintenance supervisors to communicate equipment conditions and to aid in developing a priority for maintenance activities.
Develops and executes a documented plan to make sure assigned hourly employees are properly trained and qualified to perform their assigned position within their job classification.
Works with Area Manager and Continuous Improvement personnel to identify, document, communicate, and implement process improvements, including participation in and sustaining 5S and Kaizen improvements.
Fills in for other Production Supervisors when needed for vacation, planned outage or any other scenario. Fill in work can be on any shift.

Skills and Other Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years previous supervisory or management experience in a heavy union or non-union fast paced manufacturing and/or construction environment is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering such as Industrial, Electrical. Mechanical and Manufacturing and/or related field desired.
Previous ductile iron products experience with a good understanding of production operations or similar manufacturing operation is a plus.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is a plus.
Foundry experience highly desired.

What will YOU be doing as an Eastern Seed Orchard Supervisor?
As an Eastern Seed Orchard Specialist, you'll play a key role in daily operations, team leadership, and the long-term success of our orchard program. In this hands-on role, your responsibilities will include:
Leading & Mentoring: Guide, train, and support orchard staff, building a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Planning & Coordination: Hold weekly planning meetings and supervise the work of the Seed Orchard & Tree Improvement Specialist at our White City, AL site.
Orchard Operations: Support the Eastern Seed Orchard Manager in daily activities including orchard establishment and maintenance, grafting, fertilization, chemical applications, Controlled Mass Pollination (CMP), and cone harvest.
CMP Focus: Take the lead on Controlled Mass Pollination efforts-ensuring optimal pollen collection, storage, and application.
