Barbaricum is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Administrator to support the Naval Surface Warfare Crane Division with enterprise-wide Information Technology support services. This program facilitates existing and future capabilities and initiatives across Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Command, Control, and Communications (C3) modernization goals aligned to NSWC's core charges of Electronic Warfare, Expeditionary Warfare, and Strategic Missions supporting a customer base that includes the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and US Special Operations Command.

ResponsibilitiesWill be responsible for supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Day to day duties will typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. Position includes knowledge of maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services. Requirements
Infrastructure Administrators on the ITS Infrastructure Services Network Services team:
build, deploy, operate, administer, and maintain on-premises and cloud network systems and services
diagnose and troubleshoot technology issues involving network infrastructure monitor the health and performance of network infrastructure and services consult with clients across the community about technology challenges and opportunities inventory network systems and services identify and track security vulnerabilities on network infrastructure and supporting systems

On-Call Responsibilities
The Infrastructure Administrator participates in the after-hours ITS On-Call rotation. ITS is responsible for responding to security and operational incidents 247, 365 days a year. As a participant in the rotation, the Infrastructure Administrator is expected to cover on-call duty, carry a pager and respond to security and/or operational incidents that crop up for roughly one week every two months. Key Relationships
The Infrastructure Administrator collaborates closely with Infrastructure Services colleagues, other ITS workgroups, and the ITS Leadership to ensure that all facets of deploying, maintaining, and securing complex IT systems are properly addressed.
