Job Description
- ServiceNow Certifications and experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Configuration Management (CMDB), and an IT Service Management background (ITSM)
- Expert level CMDB, with accreditations / certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator and products such as Discovery, Service Mapping and ITOM are preferred
- ServiceNow experience with discovery, service mapping and configuration management (CMDB) is required
- Design, develop, build and configure ServiceNow CMDB to provide and support Infrastructure configuration items
- Ensure the integration and support of the Configuration Management process to the other ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change and Release
- Plan, manage and control the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure the accuracy of the configuration data and proper reporting and status
- Continually improve the design, implementation and operation of the CMDB and overall process maturity, ensuring the proper resources and methods are enforced, as well as communications are maintained
- Work with various stakeholders and CI data owners to ensure the quality of the CMDB data is maintained and all Configuration Items are up-to-date
- Conduct data quality analysis, provide recommendations to address data quality issues and manage the implementation of approved recommendations
- Manage Configuration item review attestations to ensure accuracy and completeness of undiscoverable configuration items maintained within the CMDB

- Leads the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of major configuration changes from acquisition to termination.
- Oversees the effective implementation and use of the configuration management process, methodology, tools, procedures, and audit activities.
