The successful candidate will have be a skilled, energetic, and devoted engineer with Automation Experience. In addition, they will also be interested in being involved in the day to day manufacturing process. They will be a key member of the facility management team reporting to the Operations Manager, providing support/direction of the manufacturing process and equipment decisions. Job Qualifications: Mechanical or Chemical Engineer with Automation background is REQUIRED. Bachelors or Masters in Control Engineering is preferred. Strong background in equipment troubleshooting, process optimization and production controls such as SPC and DCS. Strong mechanical aptitude and high interest in working in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to get involved in the production operation at all levels. Ability to work in a multitasking, multi-role and fast paced environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including VBA and macros, AutoCAD, PLC controls and programming software, SolidWorks experience would be an asset.     Job Description Ingenia Polymers, a rapidly growing manufacturer in the global arena, is looking for a full time Logistics Operator (Shipper/Receiver) to assist us in the production and logistics in our plastic processing facility in LaPorte. The Logistics Operator would be responsible to assume duties in the Logistics Department. The job requires organization, coordination, communication skills and dedication. Respect for safety is a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ship materials, ensuring accuracy of paperwork and proper labeling. Receive materials, verifying that the quantity matches paperwork and that items are undamaged. Prepare bins for finished production material and incoming raw materials. Stage and scan materials for shipment. Label and organize incoming materials. Prepare sample orders. Assist with inventory counts. Maintain warehouse and dock areas in a clean and orderly manner. Verify material returns for finished jobs. Verify materials for outgoing jobs. Perform other activities as needed based on plant, shipping, and receiving schedules. Participate in logistics projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving role within a plant environment. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrate excellent PC computer skills. Experience with an ERP system is considered an advantage. Capable of reading, communicating, and understanding both written and verbal instructions in English. Able to implement, enforce, and maintain operational guidelines effectively. Comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Open to working overtime as required. Highly organized with a focus on detail and precision. A proven safety record in the operation of a forklift is crucial. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting. Must exhibit initiative, reliability, and a positive attitude.
