The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. What you'll be working on:
Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
Currently licensed in CA with ability to obtain additional state licenses
Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
Current shifts range from (7am - 12am PST)

The base hourly range for this role is $59.10 to $65.50 per hour (plus evening and weekend differential) based on a full-time schedule. Position Summary:
The Facilities and Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing the day-to-day administrative and operations needs of the Foundation's office environment. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement the process and procedure for the use of the office space for hosting external community groups. This includes scheduling, responding to reservation inquiries, arranging for parking, creating lists of resources such as catering, ensuring access to the building, providing agreed upon supplies, ensuring functioning of meeting equipment, and arranging for clean up.
Order food and arrange for delivery and provide set up and clean up for board meetings and other work meetings as determined by leadership.

Participate as needed and abide by all emergency preparedness planning and trainings.
Welcome guests and arrange for parking validation and parking instructions as needed.
Support with phone and email messages, forwarding to appropriate staff or respond directly if applicable.
As required, conduct other duties and special projects.

The assessments take 30-60 minutes. Time spent with the veteran and travel time is paid from the person's home and back at $50/hour. Flexible schedule. Can work anytime from 8am to 8pm Monday through Sunday. Weekends only is acceptable. Great part time job for extra money on the side of your regular job. Experience with assessments required.
We just started a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs so there is not a big need right now - but as we get more clients in the program the need will grow. When we have need of an assessment we will reach out and you would need to get the assessment completed within 3-5 calendar days of getting notified of the new assessment, as this assessment will determine the number of hours the veteran will get approved for care each week.

Duties:
As part of your role, you will travel within your territory in the United States to meet face-to-face with donors. Estimated travel time is 50%.
Travel internationally on mission trips to show donors the needs of the beneficiaries we serve. Your mission travel will play a significant role in raising awareness and support for our cause. During these trips, your responsibilities will include:
Showcasing new projects for funding
Monitoring projects in progress
Witness projects that have been completed
Develop and implement personalized fundraising plans for 125-150 prospects in a fluid portfolio to increase donations and secure transformational gifts for FFTP.
Qualify assigned prospects and navigate through the identification and discovery process.
To deepen engagement with prospects, you aim to have 20 meaningful donor interactions (in person, video, or phone call) per month.
Engage with organizations' donor acquisition strategies.
Create a yearly solicitation pipeline.

Work collaboratively and strategically with other team members to support donor-centric philanthropy in alignment with FFTP's strategic plan.

Summary

YOLA at Heart of LA is the second site of Gustavo Dudamel's signature program Youth Orchestra LA, inspired by El Sistema, the Venezuelan music education system that provides a quarter million children with free musical instruments and music instruction. Over the last thirty years, Heart of Los Angeles has become a home-away-from-home for countless numbers of inner-city youth. With YOLA, this vibrant community center has become a hub of intensive and joyful music making. Each participant receives a rich music curriculum focused on cultivating a caring, cooperative, and fun community. The instruments and the program are free to all participating students as long as they uphold their contract to take care of the instrument, practice, and participate in YOLA at Heart of LA music programming. Participating students come from within a five-mile radius of Heart of LA community center, located in and around Lafayette Park, Los Angeles.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading cello and string sectionals for YOLA at Heart of LA, a joint venture of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Heart of Los Angeles. He/she/they will ensure the highest musical experience for YOLA at Heart of LA, create curriculum and pedagogy in collaboration with other YOLA at Heart of LA music faculty, and support each child holistically. He/she/they will support the Heart of LA philosophy and community as a part of YOLA at Heart of LA and help facilitate community and family involvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As YOLA at Heart of LA faculty member, responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Collaborating with YOLA at Heart of LA faculty to create a shared curriculum, pedagogy and culture inspired by the ideals of El Sistema.
Teaching cello for beginning, intermediate, and advanced YOLA at Heart of LA students.
Lesson planning for the groups and sessions that are taught.
Team teaching with other strings when necessary.
Leading ensembles/conducting as assigned.
Assisting with full orchestra rehearsals; playing in the section, helping students individually, classroom management, collaborating with the YOLA conductors.
Assisting with concerts and special events.

Attending music pedagogy and tutoring professional development sessions.
Supporting youth development in individual and collective agency and expression through artistry and citizenship.
Preparation and communication with music teachers, YOLA conductors, program director, program managers, LA Phil staff, parents, and the Heart of LA team.
Arranging orchestra parts to suit strings (or other) instruments if needed.
Embodying the El Sistema ideals of mentorship, team teaching and experiential learning by being a role model and mentor to those entering the classroom to learn, such as YOLA students, or volunteers.

About the Role
The Safe Clean Water Program Associate Specialist is a key member of Heal the Bay's Safe Clean Water Program (SCWP) Team, supporting community education and engagement throughout the Central and South Santa Monica Bay Watershed areas. This position plays an important role in advancing the goals of the Safe Clean Water Program by fostering inclusive, meaningful community participation and increasing public understanding of local water quality, water supply, and climate resilience efforts.
This role contributes directly to the SCWP's mission to:
Protect public health and create safer, greener, and more resilient communities.
Modernize Los Angeles County's water system to capture and reuse more of the billions of gallons currently lost each year.
Reduce pollutants in stormwater to safeguard coastal waters, beaches, and marine life.
Upgrade aging water infrastructure using a combination of nature-based solutions, science, and emerging technology.
Prepare the region for climate-driven impacts, including drought, wildfire, and flooding.
The Associate Specialist helps ensure that all SCWP contract deliverables are successfully met, representing Heal the Bay in a variety of public, community, and partner settings. This includes conducting presentations, attending coalition meetings, participating in community events, and supporting multilingual outreach.
Expectations & Responsibilities
Build community knowledge of SCWP goals by taking initiative and leveraging a strong understanding of western Los Angeles County communities.
Promote SCWP engagement opportunities through a variety of outreach methods to ensure participation among neighborhood councils, local governments, and community leaders.
Assist Watershed Coordinators in both the South and Central Santa Monica Bay areas in developing and delivering educational activities and trainings.
Represent Heal the Bay at select coalition and partner meetings.
Support content creation and translation of outreach materials for Spanish-speaking communities.
Lead the SCWP tabling program and represent the program at inland and urban community festivals and events.
Deliver educational presentations to a wide range of audiences.
Assist in securing and completing bilingual (Spanish/English) print, radio, and television outreach.
Support review of invoices, quarterly newsletters, and reporting deliverables.
Recruit schools, public agencies, businesses, elected officials, and community groups to participate in SCWP outreach activities.
Collect community surveys during field outreach activities.
Coordinate stakeholder meetings and ensure that stakeholder databases remain accurate and up to date.
Assist the Programs Department with events as needed.
Preferred Experience & Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish, including strong writing abilities.
Demonstrated success engaging community groups, faith-based organizations, and social justice partners.
Passion for environmental protection and environmental justice.
Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for public-facing work.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to outreach events and meetings.
Familiarity with communities in the Central and/or South Santa Monica Bay Watershed area.
Compensation
Full time, non-exempt $23.00-$25.00 hourly rate based on experience.

Schedule
Participation in some weekend and evening events, as well as county wide travel. Heal the Bay operates in hybrid manner; typical schedule might be (2) days in the office and (1) day in the field per week. Heal the Bay offers a dynamic work environment with highly motivated colleagues.
