TITLE: Plant Coordinator LOCATION: Argo Plant, Bedford Park, IL REPORTS TO: Manager, Plant Services As Plant Coordinator, you will serve as an on-site management representative for the Argo plant during second and third shifts, weekends, and holidays. This role will ensure proper response to and resourcing for safety/environmental incidents and serve as the single site contact for off-shift incidents and customer/carrier communications, as well as prioritize maintenance resources and coordinate with unit personnel to execute against production priorities. The role will provide management presence and support to all the operating units, act as subject-matter-expert in specific operational areas, and monitor off-shift security activity to ensure the plant premises remain safe and secure. What you will do: * Serving as Plant Emergency Coordinator and first responder to all emergencies in plant. Coordinate transport of any injured employees requiring outside medical treatment and act as liaison between emergency medical personnel and the Company. * Overseeing facility production and coordinating maintenance and other shared resources in accordance with plant priorities. Directing activities of additional maintenance resources that are held over or called in where necessary. Working with operations teams to ensure coordinated shut-downs for plant/unit outages in order to meet maintenance schedules, and facilitating communication during both shut-down and start-up activities. * Assisting in coordinating maintenance activities related to infrastructure and shared services. * Monitoring performance of key processes and summarizing through daily management. Providing management support in response to process deviations as reflected in KPI reports and process trends. Assisting operations teams in troubleshooting process deviations and resourcing for resolution. * Providing single point of contact for off-shift information transfer for EHSS, quality, production, maintenance/reliability, and regulatory compliance concerns. Maintaining connection with operations teams and management stakeholders to support effective decision-making. * Assisting in and conducting safety and emergency preparedness inspections, drills, and other similar activities. Providing primary response for blood borne pathogen program including clean-up and notification of Area Management and Plant Medical. * Facilitating secure access to plant storerooms as needed to support off-shift maintenance activities. * Coordinating with rail operations to ensure fluid railyard operation and proper unit service level. Providing communication path to escalate service failures where necessary. * Ensuring excellent Customer Experience by providing timely response to customer and carrier inquiries, coordinating with customer service and logistics regarding emergency shipments, late deliveries, quality concerns, etc., to ensure clear feedback to customers. * Investigating and participating in Root Cause Problem Elimination sessions for safety and quality incidents as necessary. Serving as subject-matter-expert in appropriate areas of operational experience. What you will bring: * Knowledge of Corn Wet Milling Manufacturing operations, processes and customer base, preferred. * Ability to learn and apply Ingredion's GMP, Quality and Safety standards. * Willingness to work a demanding shift rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Experience with ERP software, such as SAP; specific knowledge of CMMS application preferred. Additional responsibilities include improving processes to provide timely and accurate information to customers, business units, sales team & leadership. Based within the Sales Ops team, we are also the business owners for McCormick's CRM platform. Responsibilities: Sales Operations process owner for customer agreement across McCormick's North American Flavor Group including, but not limited to NDA's, MSA's, Code of Conduct, Sustainability. Implement, optimize, and lead processes which increase customer face time for the sales team across McCormick's North American Flavor Group Ensure effective and efficient use of salesforce.com across the North American Flavor Group including training, data accuracy & analytics for reporting and dashboarding Partner with cross functional team members at McCormick USA, McCormick Canada, Brand Aromatics & FONA on special projects to drive continuous improvement. Some travel may be required. Ownership of some Inside Sales customers to deliver a balance of customer intimacy & growth. Some travel may be required. Qualifications: Preferred BA in Business/Marketing/Technology or related discipline OR experience in the Flavor/Ingredient industry 3-6 years of B2B experience in a Sales support role Passion & understanding of the food industry and competitive landscape Strong analytical & organization skills to turn data into information Ability to manage multiple projects at a time & work with many cross functional teams Problem solving while working within established processes and timelines Experience working with functional partners such as Customers, Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Supply chain Ability to present data to all levels of the organization Experience with MS-Office, excel and working with dashboards Experience working with Salesforce.com (or adjacent technology platforms) Autonomous management of tasks and proactive mindset Great communicator & listener #LI-CG1 McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
