Primary Function:
As a FinancialAnalyst, Protein Fortification you will provide support for our Protein Fortification Segment Finance, including but not limited to FP&A, Operations Finance, Commercial Finance, SG&A, and Strategic Finance. Responsibilities include forecasting, reporting and analysis of the full P&L, support the five-year strategic financial and capital plan, mitigate financial risk (i.e. raw material purchasing, inventory, contract compliance, etc.), support customer pricing strategies, make recommendations to optimize profits, comply with internal/external requirements and budget/critically assess the appropriateness of SG&A spend for direct commercial and functional support costs (i.e. R&D, marketing, etc.). What you will do:
* Drive improvements in the forecasting processes and adapt the reporting of key performance drivers and product lines as the platform continues to grow
* Monitor and analyze various Healthful Solutions accounts ensuring timely accruals and communication of budget variances for bonus plans (SIP/AIP), inventory reserves, etc.
* Conduct process reviews in partnership with the COEs and Segment Controllers to standardize processes and implement improvements as needed
* Assist in development of reporting packages and assist in presenting results to both Corporate and Segment Leadership Teams, and other key stakeholders
* Assist in inventory management by supporting physical reconciliations, disposition of blocked/ restricted amounts and reporting on overall position
* Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and internal accounting policies and procedures when completing month end close responsibilities.
* Link local inflationary pressures from raw materials, freight, and operating costs to determine required price increase customer strategies and facilitate alignment of Commercial and Procurement teams
* Coordinate five-year strategic financial plan, assist in capital/investment prioritization, and consolidate Global inputs for presentation to Executive Leadership
* Assist in the assessment of capital investments and external M&A opportunities by creating discounted cash flow models and communicating out value drivers
* Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Manufacturing teams to improve the visibility into product profitability and to fully integrate new investments into Ingredion's organizational structure
* Lead ad-hoc projects including monitoring inter-company issues and complying with external financial incentive requirements
* Evaluate Power BI data analytics leveraging existing reports to accelerate team adoption of meaningful views
* Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts within the Platform Leadership Team and with both Corporate and Regional Finance teams
What you will bring:

What you will do:

Monitor and analyze various Healthful Solutions accounts ensuring timely accruals and communication of budget variances for bonus plans (SIP/AIP), inventory reserves, etc.
