Special Investigations Unit Investigator II (Healthcare)
The SIU Investigator II is responsible for investigating and analyzing suspected cases of fraud, waste, and abuse within the healthcare environment. This role conducts comprehensive investigations, leveraging data analytics and other sources to identify unusual billing patterns and potential violations. The position ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, including CMS, HHS-OIG, DMHC, and DHCS requirements, and supports the organization's Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Program. Duties include reporting findings to regulatory agencies and implementing measures to prevent, detect, and correct fraudulent activities.
Education & Requirements
Four (4) years or more of relevant professional experience in health care environment, with an emphasis in fraud, waste, and abuse investigations, including Federal and State reporting
Experience in health care fraud investigation, detection, and/or healthcare related specialty including but limited to; Pharmacy, DEM, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Hospice, Home Health, Claims
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, in lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four years of additional relevant work experience is required for the position
Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or similar certification is preferred
Salary:
$80,059.20 - $106,059.20 USD Annually

Position Summary:
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible and accountable for all functions of the sterile processing department, under the guidance of the sterile processing department supervisors and manager.
This position is responsible for working independently and with team members to ensure that all surgical instrumentation are properly decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, high level disinfected, marked for repair and placed in a proper repair location, and communicate incomplete trays and missing items to management and OR immediately. All instruments must be distributed, tracked and stored in a safe, secure, aseptic and timely manner throughout the hospital and clinics. Immediate-use steam sterilization, tray turnovers between surgical cases and releasing sterilized loads from the department must be performed observing standard practice. Key Responsibilities
Work effectively with other departments (i.e., Special Investigation Unit, Provider Payment Resolution team, and other departments/stakeholders) to investigate and identify fraud, respond to escalated provider inquiries timely, and support the claims process.
Investigate and process complex and high-dollar claims determining accuracy and making timely decisions.
Advise leadership and internal business units (as applicable) of findings and outcomes on identified claim issues.
Research and analyze medical claims adjustment requests along with related documentation to determine payment accuracy and adjust/adjudicate as needed in the Health Rules Processing system and other platforms.
Research claims that may have been paid incorrectly and communicate findings for adjustment. Adjust claims based on findings (i.e., correct coding, rates of reimbursement, authorizations, contracted amounts, etc.) ensuring that all relevant information is considered.
Assist with internal and regulatory claim audits, reviewing claim accuracy.
Identify trends and recommend improvements to IEHP's claim processing system.
Analyze and investigate insurance claims to discover or prevent fraud.
Be an active participant in the Claims Department's initiatives and participate in Claims Huddles, etc.
Remain current with all claim processing changes/updates (i.e. internal processes, regulatory guidelines).

Under the direction of the Director, Technology - Infrastructure Services, the Engineer III - Network will be responsible for administration and maintenance of the IEHP's Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) which are Cisco Network systems. The Engineer III responsibility will be to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer and systems network(s). This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all Network Appliance Hardware and software, and all communication circuits.

Education & Requirements
* Minimum eight (8) years of Network Design and Administration hands on experience with Palo Alto Networks, Cisco routers, switches and security solution and Cisco recommended best practices
* Bachelor's degree with a major in computer related field or similar technical field from an accredited institution required
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification preferred
