HCBTS is looking for dynamic, flexible, and passionate individuals to join our outstanding team. Treatment Technicians are responsible for the general support and mentoring for clients. They will maintain a professional relationship that supports the company's mission statement and company vision at all times. Multiple shifts available (required 4 - 10 hours shifts per week) : 1st: 7:30am to 6pm 2nd: 1pm to 11:30pm 3rd: 10pm to 8am Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform assigned duties to maintain and ensure that the property and environment of care is clean, sanitary, safe, secure, and free of obstructions / clutter. Fully perform cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance duties on-time as scheduled and as necessary and appropriate. Re-stock items when needed. Assist in the welcoming of new clients and orientation to the site, schedule, expectations, and program rules. Conduct client property inventory and search upon admission and as necessary. Perform assigned operations duties to support, enforce, and ensure compliance with the treatment program rules, code of conduct, good neighbor policy, smoking policy, and to maintain the drug-free environment. Provide support and assistance to maintain client participation and engagement in treatment. Observe client self-administration of medication and conduct urine drug screening / breath alcohol screening per company policy and procedure and report any issues or discrepancies immediately. Observe clients level of participation, compliance with treatment program rules, and monitor for any potential client issues or concerns. Report observations and client issues or concerns to your Supervisor/Manager and the Clinical Team when directed per company policies / protocols. Stay alert at all times while on-duty and available to assist and appropriately respond to client needs. Communication with all operations staff and site managers regarding day-to-day operations matters and client care. Complete shift reports before the end of the shift, informing incoming staff of any potential issues or concerns with clients or on the premises. Transport clients in company vehicles when necessary and appropriate. Comply with the policies and procedures set forth in the HCBTS Employee Handbook. Attend, participate, and complete all trainings. Observe and comply with company policy, HIPAA, and other governing laws and regulations to ensure the confidentiality, privacy, and security of protected health information. Perform assigned duties and training for compliance with State licensing / certification requirements and TJC accreditation standards. Perform other operations duties as required and/or requested by your Supervisor/Manager. Qualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver license for 4+ years Clean driving record Current CPR and First Aid Certification / Training Current PPD and Health Screening Familiarity with general principles of 12-step recovery (preferred) Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience: At least six (6) months of experience working for a company that provides treatment and services to individuals with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and/or co-occurring conditions. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, HCBTS staff members, professionals, and the local community. Good time management skills. Completes assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Knowledge and experience in complying with HIPAA and other governing laws and regulations to ensure the confidentiality, privacy, and security of protected health information. General knowledge and understanding of the laws, regulations, rules, and standards in the behavioral healthcare field. Basic computer skills. Good writing skills. Attention to detail.     JOB SUMMARY: Sycamores is partnering with the 988 mental health crisis hotline to provide support to people experiencing a mental health crisis. The 988 hotline will provide initial phone support to all callers and triage calls to the Sycamores Mobile Crisis Outreach Program for in-person support. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Team responds 7 days a week from 7:30pm to 8:30am, broken down by flexible shifts. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)will respond, in person, to provide timely support including crisis stabilization, safety planning, assessment for danger to self/ others, and gravely disabled write 51/50 holds as needed and provide follow up support. Utilizing the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program vehicle to respond to calls, this role co-responds with a Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist and is an integral part of the Sycamores larger Mobile Crisis Outreach Program including close partnership with the 988 call center, Riverside County Dispatch Center, police, sheriff, psychiatric hospitals and ambulance transport companies. The Mobile Crisis Outreach Department evaluates the individual experiencing a “mental health crisis” out in the field and takes measures to ensure the individuals safety (i.e., Evaluates if the individual requires involuntary hospitalization to ensure their safety). The Mobile Crisis Outreach Program LPT takes the lead on care coordination and works collaboratively with the Mobile Crisis Outreach Program Peer Support Specialist to coordinate care i.e., locate hospitals, ambulances, housing, etc.). The Mobile Crisis Outreach Program responds to an individual's need for in-person evaluation for safety within specified geographical area (i.e., Desert, Mid-County and Western Regions.) Starting Pay Range: $70,304 - $76,080 per year for Full-Time employment (starting pay will be based on previous work experience and educational background.) There will be an additional $4,160 per year overnight differential. Shift Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 10:30 pm - 8:30 am JOB QUALIFICATIONS Licensed in the State of California as Licensed Psychiatric Technician required. Must maintain relevant licensure as a condition of employment. 2 + years of successful licensure and experience preferred. Position Details: Part-Time Hybrid Locations: Sherman Oaks Key Responsibilities Under the direction of one of our seasoned Clinical Supervisors, provide outpatient mental health services to children, adults, couples, and families.
