Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on an as-needed basis. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, helping individuals improve their speech, language, and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide therapy for patients with articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance communication and swallowing function. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, physicians, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans. Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in speech-language pathology. Qualifications Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Licensure: Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri. Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (preferred). Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy (preferred but not required). Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills. Certifications: CPR certification (preferred). Work Environment PRN (as-needed) role with flexible scheduling options. Skilled Nursing Facility. Ability to work independently and provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
