Perform mechanical, electromechanical and electronic assembly.
Perform wiring, harnessing, cabling including wire stripping, crimping, layout and lacing per IPC 620.
Perform assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, conformal coating, bonding, curing, stamping, etc.
Utilize Manual and powered hand tools.
Understand and follow torque specifications.
Hand solder per work instructions and J-Std-001
Inspect/ Verify Soldering per work instructions and IPC 610 Class 3
Set-up and Run Automated and Semi-Automated assembly equipment
Set-up and Run Automated Electronic and Electrical Tests
Perform Standard Repair procedures
Set-up and Operate ERSA
Perform operator level Preventative Maintenance on Area Equipment
Extract and Input data into MRP System
Perform final assembly and test and minor troubleshooting

Qualifications:
REQUIRED:

Responsibilities:
Review and ensure accuracy of product cost of sales, and program costs specific to engineering design and modification projects on a monthly basis.

Professional Requirements:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Mid-level Operations Analysis/Systems Engineer to join our Vertical Lift team located in Mesa, AZ or Ridley, PA.
The Operations Analysis candidate will have domain experience in military helicopter aviation to apply quantitative and qualitative methods, optimization, and simulation to support business development, systems engineering, product modernization and improvement as it relates to operational effectiveness.
This engineer will evaluate customer/operational needs to define and inform system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Primary Responsibilities
* Partner with internal Boeing and military customers to define operational problems and success metrics.
* Perform competitor assessments across helicopter / UAS markets and deliver to business developers.
* Perform Capability Based Assessments (CBA) and cost effectiveness analysis.
* Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and Trade Studies for Design and Sub-Systems
* Support requirements definition, derivation and validation.
* Perform sensitivity, scenario, and uncertainty analyses to quantify risks and tradeoffs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
* 5+ years of military operational experience as a rated rotary wing aviator. Service in an Apache attack Helicopter Battalion or Air Cavalry Squadron is desired.
* Experience working with engineering / integrated product teams to resolve issues and integrate solutions.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
* Familiarity with combat simulation tools (ATCOM, AFSIM, JCATS, ONESAF) and stochastic process modeling is desired.
* Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Magic System of Systems Architect (MSOSA) model or IBM Rhapsody is desired.
* Familiarity with DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System).
* Familiarity with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) tools is desired.

Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

The Manufacturing Engineering Co-op Student will support the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. R&M engineer may also perform maintenance, health and optimization of engineering systems which track, monitor, report, and statistically model design changes. Wire Installation and Wire Design Engineering Co-op Student: Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness and equipment detail and assembly designs. Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas). Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities. Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture.
