Pharmacy Technician 2 Job Responsibilities: Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies. Accurately pre-packs medications and restocks code cart and stock kits. Restocks assigned areas, puts away unused medications in addition to utilizing want book and associated inventory management procedures. Orders items, properly stocks shelves, processes returns and identifies vendor errors. Accurately fills automated dispensing devices and unit dose pick, first doses and floor stock. Assists Pharmacist in drug selection and counting medications accurately. Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School or GED. Experience: One (1) year Pharmacy Technician experience. One (1) year IV training/experience required. Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia or a Pharmacy intern license.
