DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Lottery SalesRepresentative, you will have the opportunity to seek out additional lottery license applicants while helping current and future licensed lottery retailers achieve and exceed their sales goals. Responsibilities include analyzing the effectiveness of licensees in the achievement of their sales objectives, conducting on-site inspections to determine if prospective retailers are compliant with the Lottery's accessibility program requirements, and providing ongoing training and support to ensure retailers' continued improvement and success. Our team will rely on you to explain lottery policies and procedures, analyze and explain statistical information, as well as apply marketing and sales principles and practices. You will also be responsible for helping retailers by recommending the type and location of marketing equipment and marketing materials to be placed in a particular type of business and conducting various sales and promotional activities. In this role, you will be required to navigate a web based portal, be proficient in the use of a PC and iPad, as well as read and interpret sales data.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location insidePennsylvania.
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week to maintain operational efficiency and maximize service to the Lottery and the public.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or
Any equivalent experience and training.
Special Requirements:
You must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Additional Requirements:
This position will travel to cover Lancaster County. The candidate must reside in Lancaster County in one of the following zip codes: 17505, 17512, 17516, 17520, 17538, 17551, 17554, 17572, 17579, 17582, 17584, 17601, 17602, or 17603. Relocation is not an option.
You must have four or more years of sales experience.
You must have four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment.
You must be able to lift/carry up to 40 pounds.
You must be available to work the required work schedule of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM for one week.
You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners.

Qualifications

Create a complete bill of material including documented labor hours that ensures an accurate total estimated cost for the job
Develop working relationships with Purchasing and Engineering and involve as appropriate to ensure a smooth flow of information on all bills of material.
Complete quotes in a timely manner, continually updating the system and the salesrepresentative if delays are anticipated
Become adept with the computer systems to utilize the appropriate quoting tools and methods to complete quotes in a timely and accurate manner
Respond to phone, e-mail and walk-in inquiries for quotes, orders, delivery dates, order status, chassis availability and order changes
Provide feedback and new ideas for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
Required Credentials
Minimum of five (5) years of customer service or sales experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in truck equipment, OEM automotive or similar industry - preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel
Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred
