1998 The Arlington Health Foundation helped us expand the late-stage program and serve more people in need of this care.
Doctor Shah moved to Flint with his family in 2003 and looked into a building to purchase in order to expand his growing practice.
2004 The Center doubled its space at a new location specifically designed for people with an Alzheimer’s type illness.
INSIGHT was founded in 2008 by Doctor Jawad Shah to provide clinical services in neurosurgery and other neurosciences.
2011 The center received funds to hire a certified art therapist to work weekly with the adult day center participants.
2013 IMCC was honored to be recognized as Adult Day Center of the Year from the national Adult Day Services Association.
2017 After participating in the pilot program, Insight became one of the first in the country to offer the SHARE program.
Doctor Shah also was one of the investors in Pontiac General Hospital, which was acquired in early 2018 out of bankruptcy by the Sharma family.
