Maurice R. Ferré MD is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at INSIGHTEC, the innovator of incisionless surgery. Dr. Ferré brings over 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur in the medical technology industry.

Prior to INSIGHTEC, Ferré served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of MAKO Surgical Corporation, a transformational robotic surgical company that he co-founded. The company was acquired by Stryker Corp. for $1.65 billion in 2013. Prior to MAKO, Ferré was Founder, CEO and President of Visualization Technology Inc. (VTI). VTI became the world leader in image-guided surgery with a navigation platform for ENT and was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2002.

Dr. Ferré received his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from Boston University in 1992. He was the recipient of the prestigious Ernest & Young 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was awarded BioFlorida’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

Dr. Ferré is a member of the Board of Trustees for Boston University and is also active on the boards of The Everglades Foundation and Endeavor Miami.

Chris Marrus is a Senior VP:Sales at MAKO SURGICAL CORP. and Chief Commercial Officer at Insightec and is based in Houston, Texas. He has worked as Vice President, Robotic Sales and Service at STRYKER CORP; VP:Sales at EndoGastric Solutions Inc; and Varios Positions at INTUITIVE SURGICAL INC. Christopher studied at Louisiana State University - LSU between 1984 and 1988 and Tulane University between 1991 and 1994.

Arjun (JJ) Desai, MD leads the strategy for future platforms, luminary ecosystem development, clinical and economic data analytics and modeling, and Medical Advisory Board operational support at INSIGHTEC.

Dr. Desai comes to INSIGHTEC from Johnson & Johnson Innovation, where he held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for delivering on the goals and objectives across the global JLABS organization and the Center for Device Innovation.

Dr. Desai completed his advanced medical training at Stanford University where he sits on both clinical and Biodesign faculty. He holds an MD from University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and a B.S. in Economics from The University of Oklahoma.

Eyal Zadicario is a Chief Operating Officer & General Manager at Insightec and is based in Israel. He has experience at Israeli Air Force. Eyal attended Tel Aviv University between 1992 and 1997, Harvard Business School between 2015 and 2015, and Tel Aviv University between 2010 and 2017.

Seasoned C-level executive with expertise in legal matters, corporate governance, M&A, risk management, ethics & compliance; global experience living and working in USA, Europe and Asia (established and emerging markets) with first-rate organizations; particular expertise in health care business and regulation

Patrick is a strategic finance executive passionate about developing markets for innovative healthcare technologies that improve patient outcomes. Patrick serves as Insightec’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for financial planning, reporting, and supporting development of the company's short and long-term strategy. He will manage capital funding and investor relations and advise the executive team on matters related to financial decision making.

Patrick previously served as VP of Finance and Sales Operations at Intuitive Surgical where he led a global team of forward-looking planning and operations professionals that helped develop the market for robotic surgery. He also worked in medical technology equity research at Lazard Capital Markets and A.G. Edwards & Sons and as a consultant at Deloitte.

Patrick holds a BBA in Finance and in Marketing from the University of Georgia and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
