Documentation & Reporting • Maintain a comprehensive tracking log of inspection dates, findings, preventative measures, and follow-up needs. • Document when pests or property issues are found, and track progress through resolution by Maintenance or professionals. • Complete all required digital forms accurately and on time. • Take before and after photos when issues are identified and upload them to the reporting system. • Maintain organized, complete, and compliant documentation for agency oversight. Team Collaboration • Serve as a member of the Pest Management Team, sharing findings with supervisors, Maintenance, and other staff. • Communicate inspection results and ensure staff understand required preparation steps for pest protocols. • Coordinate with Maintenance and licensed professionals by providing accurate inspection data to support timely repairs and treatments. • Assist leadership in identifying trends or recurring issues across properties. • Frequent travel between properties. • Physical activity including bending, kneeling, lifting, and moving furniture during inspections. • Work may involve entering recently treated areas once safe re-entry times have passed. • PPE and safety training will be provided. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Experience in inspections, property oversight, pest monitoring, or related fields preferred. • Strong observational skills and ability to identify property concerns or signs of pest activity. • Ability to learn and follow agency protocols, inspection procedures, and reporting processes. • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active automobile insurance required. • Ability to travel between agency properties regularly. • Basic digital competency for completing electronic forms, uploading photos, and maintaining logs. • Physical ability to move moderate items (chairs, nightstands, mattresses) to complete thorough inspections. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently Schedule and Compensation: $17/hr sarting pay and an increase after being hired on. JOB OVERVIEW The Lead Inspector(s) are responsible for the direct supervision performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, final Inspections, and perform return to service functions on all civil aviation articles received by this repair station in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer's instructions for continued airworthiness, operator technical data, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable and/or approved by the FAA. Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate inspections of the maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alteration of a powerplant, aircraft or appliance, or a part thereof, received at this repair station. * Supervise and coordinate inspections and required inspections in accordance with the methods, standards, and limits required by the accepted or approved data to determine that the work was satisfactorily completed. * Audit all inspection paperwork for completeness, task compliance, and deliver finalized documents to Records Dept. * Assist and train new inspectors perform inspection tasks as specified on Company job cards, repair and routing travelers recording discrepancies as required. * Audit corrective action entries, including installed parts/material tags, tools and equipment used, proper signoff and references. * Supervise and coordinate receiving inspection on incoming parts, materials, and tooling to ensure Company standards and requirements are met and generate the applicable identification tags. * Assist in the development and training of new inspectors. Qualifications: * High School or equivalent and basic computer skills * Airframe and Powerplant license * Must possess exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in the inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools, and equipment used in aircraft jet engine maintenance. * 3 - 5 years experience in a lead role for an aircraft jet engine maintenance. * Experienced with borescope inspection and interpretation of technical data during the borecope process. * Familiar with all regulatory requirements that govern the maintenance of aircraft jet engine. * Must be able to communicate Inspection Priorities to inspection personnel in a clear and concise manner. * Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. * Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S Job Demands: Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance.
