Petroleum Inspector - II Performs sampling, pipeline transfers, inventories and barge inspections including line condition surveys. Performs vessel inspections under the direct supervision of a Senior Inspector. Certifies that field assignments conform to company policies and procedures as well as job specific instructions supplied by the Operations Department. The NDT Advanced Services API Inspector is responsible for performing inspections in accordance with API standards designated equipment for purposes of recommending and approving repairs or certifying compliance. Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is: To verify property occupancy. To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
