Immediately notifying the Manufacturing Coordinator if any defects are found. + Utilizing the data acquisition software to determine which gauging (if necessary) must be performed during the production run to ensure quality standards are met. + Keeping accurate documentation in the data acquisition software during the production run. + Inspecting parts on the conveyor belts and in product containers throughout the shift, and performing liner inspections as required. + If applicable, periodically checking the glue tank level to ensure a proper supply of glue is available to the machine. + Properly packaging and handling the production per the assigned manufacturing specification. + Accurately recording scrap and placing the scrap in the proper containers. + Assisting in the performance of machine startups, shutdowns and line clearances. + Keeping machine downtime to a minimum. + Keeping the workstation clean and neat at all times by utilizing good housekeeping practices. + Participating in Lean and Safety programs. + Following applicable Food Safety and cGMP polices. + Assisting in the training of fellow associates. + Performing other duties as assigned. General Hotels Corporation is seeking a Housekeeping Room Inspector for our XXX hotel. The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Room Inspector is to ensure cleanliness of all guest rooms and maintain the high standards of the hotel, assist and monitor housekeeping employees in their daily tasks, and inform housekeeping managers of any discrepancies. This position is also required to assist housekeeping managers with housekeeping related duties such as lost and found procedures, answering phones and any other task related to housekeeping, guest service and interaction with housekeeping employees. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect all vacant rooms daily in assigned areas and spot-check occupied rooms as needed. Ensure all required amenities and linens are stocked daily in each guest room according to standards. Monitor all housekeeping employees and their daily activities while on the floor. Report any issues to housekeeping manager immediately. Assist housekeeping managers with office duties and back of house duties, as needed, including but not limited to lost and found, shipping and daily offices procedures. Role Overview: A Meat Inspector is responsible for assuring the production of safe, unadulterated, properly labeled meat and poultry products produced in their assigned establishment(s) using sound principles of food public health and food safety. The compliance officer investigates violations of food safety, food defense, and other consumer protection statutory and regulatory requirements; controls unsafe or violative products through detentions, civil seizures, and voluntary recalls; and develops cases through surveillance and investigation activity to ensure that appropriate criminal, administrative, and civil sanctions are carried out. This position will conduct inspections in Southwest Indiana, with a focus on Dubois county. Salary Statement: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows: * Perform antemortem and postmortem (AM & PM) slaughter inspections of livestock and poultry in official meat establishments. * Inspect, evaluate, and verify establishments comply with humane handling and non-ambulatory animal regulatory requirements. * Verify meat plants' Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and pathogen reduction programs comply with regulatory requirements. * Inspect slaughtering procedure and verify carcasses comply with HACCP zero tolerance and BSE specified risk material [SRM] requirements. * Properly collect, identify and submit samples for animal disease control programs as prescribed from designated animals presented for slaughter. * Evaluate and verify meat plants' handling procedures, formulations, and production of meat and poultry products comply with the plant's SSOP and HACCP plans. * Conduct reinspection of carcasses, meat products (during processing and in storage), and returned product for proper identification or labeling, evidence of mishandling, contamination or adulteration. * Monitor and evaluate pest control programs. * Evaluate the acceptability of all chemicals and ingredients used in the processing of meat or meat products. * Check products for proper labeling and stamping, review and assist in the submission of label applications to central label approval. * Assist in the training of other inspectors and agency personnel. * Collect, properly identify, and maintain a chain of custody of samples as required. * Record activity and interact with the Public Health Inspection Service (PHIS) system. * Essential functions of this position require travel on most workdays to inspect, audit, examine, survey, or investigate clients, customers, or other regulated entities and write reports at those sites or employee's home. Employee reports to the agency's office for occasional meetings or events.
