What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Scope of work:
The scope of work includes:
Ensuring that welds and welding processes comply with codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements by performing visual inspections and also to witness & verify non-destructive tests & their reports.
Monitoring welding parameters and inspecting materials and equipment.
Quality document reviews including WPS / PQR, assessment of quality, and issue reports or recommendations for corrective actions to ensure the safety and structural integrity of welded components.
Verify that welders are qualified, and that welding procedures and specifications (WPS) are followed correctly.
Ensure all welding activities adhere to relevant industry codes (like ASME, AWS, API) and contractual requirements.
Perform pre-weld, in-process, and post-weld inspections to identify defects and ensure quality.
Conduct visual inspections of welded joints, checking dimensions, penetration, and bead formation.
Witness non-destructive testing (NDT) and interpret / verify results.
Visual inspection on the quality of welding and mechanical projects.
Ensure that materials, equipment, and safety regulations are followed.
Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection results, including any issues found.
Qualifications
Must have at least one of the following: AWS / CWI / CSWIP/API
Minimum of five (5) years industrial welding-related inspection experience. Two (2) of these years should be in Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections inspector.
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of industry experience (mainly Oil and Gas)
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of welding inspections. Welding inspections experience at manufacturer shops / facilities.
Welding inspection experience of Pipeline, Equipment i.e. Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Pumps, etc.. would be an asset.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday - 8 to 10 hours/day
Hourly rate - $40 to $45/hr + $0.70/km
No set schedule, the inspector will be contacted as needed.
If the inspection site is beyond a round trip of 200 miles from the inspector place of residence, a per diem may be considered.

**Position Overview**
Perform visual and functional inspections of aircraft and components during all phases of maintenance as assigned by Inspection Management.
+ Inspecting aircraft and components in accordance with instructions for continued airworthiness, reviewing inspection requirements scope and detail, completing visual and mechanical inspections of assigned aircraft areas.

Position Summary:
Accepting applicants for 1st and 2nd Shifts to inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts and assemblies, etc. for conformance to company standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Checks randomly selected samples and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.
Reports conditions requiring immediate repair.
Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.
Works under general supervision.
Keeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections.
Uses experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.
May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.
May obtain samples to conduct studies in laboratory analysis and determines measures to be taken to remedy deviations from standards.
Conduct Product and Process audits and LPA (Layered process audits).
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
Strong and accurate data entry skills
Intermediate skills in using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent organization skills
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated - able to work with minimal supervision
Use of powered hand tools
Testing of raw materials and/or finished products, which may or may not include industry standard test methods (e.g. ANSI/ASME measuring standards)
Position Qualifications:
Education:
HS graduate or equivalent
Experience:
1+ years of experience in quality machining, preferred
Previous experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), preferred
Previous experience with Oracle, SAP or other database management systems, preferred

Position Summary
The CWIs performs all visual weld inspections on both steel and aluminum products. As well as conducts various NDT process in accordance with D1.1 and UL Standards. Responsible for maintenance of various records such as: welder certification continuity log, calibrated tools/machines, and nonconformance's.
Daily Job Responsibilities/Functions to Include, But Not Limited To
Perform visual and measurable inspections on products in steel and aluminum weld departments
Perform weld specific testing such as leak (pressure & vacuum) testing, and Dye-penetrate testing.
Document all paperwork accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
Aid in or Certify/re-certify welders in accordance to D1.1 or D1.2 code.
Recommend improvements and train to industry best practices
Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to identify and report reoccurring issues, root cause, and corrective action to management and product development teams
Develop or update company inspection and test procedures to ensure capture, investigation, and proper documentation
Provide training and support to quality & production team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
Ensure calibration of all weld and measuring equipment
And any other task as deemed appropriate by the Director of Quality.

Five years related experience and/or training in welding or weld inspections, or equivalent combination of education and experience for Steel & Aluminum
Understanding of D1.1 or D1.2 code and practices.
