Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Quality Control Inspectors are certified in receipt inspection, and other disciplines as needed, to verify that structures, systems, and components conform to predetermined requirements (e.g., codes, standards, specifications, regulatory, and contractual requirements). This full-time on-site position is located at the UCOR office in Oak Ridge, TN. UCOR is conducting major cleanup activities at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and the Y-12 National Security Complex as well as remedial activities at the East Tennessee Technology Park (ETTP). Cleanup missions on the Oak Ridge Reservation (ORR) focus on protecting people and the environment from industrial and chemical hazards while enabling current and future science and national security programs. UCOR also leads critical projects (e.g., Outfall 200 Mercury Treatment Facility and the Environmental Management Disposal Facility) and manages nuclear operations facilities at the ORNL and Transuranic Waste Processing Center.
