Make decision to withdraw produce from inventory that does not meet the specifications set by US Foods.
Work directly in conjunction with warehouse management to identify and address food safety concerns. Maintain records of inspections.
Collaborate, when necessary with replenishment lead on dumps, damages and produce re-work decisions.
Key metrics include: customer satisfaction by minimizing returns and customer retention

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Communicate daily with the replenishment lead and warehouse manager on all issues related to fresh produce. Make recommendations on dump and damage or repackaging.
Verify Purchase Order quantities and inspect quality for all inbound perishable loads.
Inspect all inbound trucks for signs of pest and rodents before unloading.
Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to receiving, storage, and shipping of fresh produce. Identify any issues to warehouse management.
Document temperatures of all inbound loads and report to warehouse manager and replenishment lead any violations.
Responsible for checking for proper rotation of all produce inventory.
Perform daily quality inspections for all fresh produce items in inventory.
Perform daily date checks and pull all out dated fresh produce from pick and reserve slots.
Complete daily dump and damage report and give to warehouse supervisor or inventory control.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:
Inspect ferrous and nonferrous raw stock details, brazed assemblies machined parts, diffusion bonded parts and assemblies for defects and compliance with fracture control requirements, engineering drawings, customer acceptance criteria or other critical established requirements using ultrasonic inspection equipment and processes.
Essential Functions:
+ Plan the methods and determine the type of ultrasonic equipment required to inspect the internal structure of ferrous and nonferrous metal materials, machined parts, and diffusion bonded parts, assemblies, and weldments composed of a variety of materials in structures subject to high stress, temperature or pressure.

+ Monitor equipment and make adjustments during inspection to compensate for non-relevant ultrasonic signals. Adjust sensitivity and attenuation controls within marginal material responses and equipment operating conditions. Under direction from and contour wedges and shoes or other required components for proper application of ultrasonic equipment.
+ Inspect and interpret readings on oscilloscope screens or ultrasonic recordings of machined parts, diffusion bonded parts, assemblies and weldments including those having high stress, temperatures or pressure limits. Analyze and interpret indications of flaws, defects, normal discontinuities or interference. Detect and identify all flaws and defects including exact size and shape, mark location of defects on material, parts and assemblies and determine acceptability.
+ Record inspection results manually or with the aid of a computer or computer based systems.
+ Accept or reject items in compliance with fracture control specifications or other critical customer requirements. Order rejection and rework or sign off items as acceptable.

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.

Ensure produce quality that is received from supplier, stored in the warehouse, and shipped to our customers meets the specifications set by US Foods.
Perform daily inspections of all incoming fresh produce deliveries and the inspection of all fresh produce in inventory within our coolers.
Make decision to reject or accept fresh produce at receiving and ensure appropriate processes are followed that are consistent with PACA laws when a rejection is necessary.
Make decision to withdraw produce from inventory that does not meet the specifications set by US Foods.
Work directly in conjunction with warehouse management to identify and address food safety concerns. Maintain records of inspections.
Collaborate, when necessary with replenishment lead on dumps, damages and produce re-work decisions.
Key metrics include: customer satisfaction by minimizing returns and customer retention
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $24.06hr - $30.00hr. This role will also receive overtime compensation
Work Schedule
Sunday-Thursday
Sunday Start Time: 12pm - 8:30pm
Monday - Thursday - 9am - 5pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate daily with the replenishment lead and warehouse manager on all issues related to fresh produce. Make recommendations on dump and damage or repackaging.
Verify Purchase Order quantities and inspect quality for all inbound perishable loads.
Inspect all inbound trucks for signs of pest and rodents before unloading.
Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to receiving, storage, and shipping of fresh produce. Identify any issues to warehouse management.
Document temperatures of all inbound loads and report to warehouse manager and replenishment lead any violations.
Responsible for checking for proper rotation of all produce inventory.
Perform daily quality inspections for all fresh produce items in inventory.
Perform daily date checks and pull all out dated fresh produce from pick and reserve slots.
Complete daily dump and damage report and give to warehouse supervisor or inventory control.
Other duties as assigned.

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Level 2 Radiographic Inspector to analyze, interpret and evaluate radiographs of materials, parts and weldments for compliance with required specifications and standards and for developing radiographic techniques and standards.
This will be a Second Shift, Union position located at our facility in Canoga Park, CA (Los Angeles area).

Essential Functions:
+ Read and interpret information from planning documents, drawings and specifications, engineering orders, inspection procedures, material review reports and other source documents to establish the procedures and requirements needed to perform radiographic inspection of material, parts and weldments.
+ Develop work instructions from approved general procedures.
+ Set up and operate industrial x-ray and film processing equipment. Be familiar with the codes, standards, specifications and other contractual documents that control the method. Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.
+ Analyze, interpret and evaluate radiographic disclosures without the aid of comparative charts to determine acceptability of materials, parts and weldments.
+ Detect and identify defects affecting quality and safety factors such as cracks, inclusions, segregations, cavities, undercuts, draws, incomplete fusion and porosity.
+ Determine the acceptability of items having marginal defects and reject those that do not comply with required standards and specifications.
+ Record test results, findings and dispositions manually or with the aid of a computer or computer based system.
+ Reject items that do not meet acceptance criteria. Coordinate recurring defects with concerned engineering and vendor personnel and recommend corrective action measures.
+ Test and pass Level II certification in house.
+ Able to pass vision test requirements.
Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 800 hours of NDT/NDE experience.
Preferred Additional Skils:
+ Prior X-ray and DR experience.
+ Experience inspecting manual, automatic and Electron Beam welds.
+ Worked on Exotic materials and wall thickness up to 1 inch.
+ Certification as a Level 2 Radiographic Inspector, ASNT/NAS410 or equivalent.
+ Have a basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology.
+ Computer experience to include accessing on-line documents and information, working within the company business systems and Microsoft office.
