Dassault Falcon Jet -Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Reno, Nevada is seeking a full-time Quality Control Inspector who will be primarily responsible for performing inspections of aircraft maintenance and alterations for quality and airworthiness. Also, providing the approval for return to service with respect to the work performed for work that the Service Center (FAA Certificated Repair Station) is rated. The Quality Control Inspector may also perform aircraft maintenance (including inspection), preventive maintenance and alteration and assist customers with technical and operational support relative to the customer's aircraft.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Responsible to Quality Assurance for quality and airworthiness and may report to Crew Chief for the assignment of aircraft maintenance tasks.
* Using technical data acceptable to and/or approved by the FAA, the Quality Control Inspector provides inspection and approval for return to service with respect to work performed.
* May travel to locations other than the Repair Station's fixed location to support customer aircraft.
* May perform inspections, makes adjustments and repairs, replaces components and corrects any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft.
* May perform repairs on components removed from the aircraft.
* May remove and re-install aircraft components to gain access for the performance of assigned tasks.
* May troubleshoot (fault isolation) aircraft system malfunction.
* May perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
* Documents, records and signs for work performed and/or inspected per RSM/QCM.
* Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervision.
* May fuel and defuel aircraft.
* May perform aircraft line services.
* Performs inspection on-site and at off-site locations.
* Supports production aircraft under Production Certificate System.
* Assists other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification.
* Is familiar with and adheres to the RSM/QCM and applicable regulations.
* Is responsible for and accountable for work performed.
Requirements
* Possess a Mechanics certificate with Airframe and Power plant ratings.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance and alteration of turbo fan powered business aircraft.
* Trained in or experience with the methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to perform aircraft maintenance and alterations.
* Thoroughly familiar with the applicable regulations, the RSM/QCM and proficient in the use of the various inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools appropriate for the work being performed and approved for return to service.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $38 - $50 per hour. This position is eligible for tech leveling to reflect varying levels of experience. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.

Inspector job in Carson City, NV
As an QC Inspector at Rocket EMS, you will be a key part of ensuring that our high-reliability PCB assemblies meet the strictest quality standards. You'll be responsible for first article inspections, in-process audits, and monitoring production quality across the SMT line. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of IPC standards, and the confidence to stop a line when quality is at risk.
Responsibilities
Review job documentation (MPI, Deviations, ECOs, and Customer Requirements) before inspection.
Perform SMT First Article Inspections and verify compliance with IPC-A-610 (Class 2 and 3) and customer standards.
Monitor throughput and quality on assigned lines; stop production if major defects are found and escalate issues immediately.
Provide daily quality pass-down reports and update leads/supervisors on inspection results.
Raise and review Technical Inquiries for discrepancies; ensure no jobs start without proper authorization.
Support bottleneck areas as directed by Supervisor, Engineer, or Manager.
Escalate unresolved issues to the Quality Manager.
Follow and enforce all procedures related to ESD, MSD handling, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and inspection protocols.
Suggest and support continuous process and quality improvements.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience
Minimum 2 years in an electronics inspection role within a contract manufacturing or similar environment.
IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification (required).
Skills
Strong understanding of IPC workmanship standards (Class 2 and 3).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and BOMs.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and classify defects accurately.
