What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.

Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Lead Package Walkdown Coordinator
Play an integral role in bringing world-class quality and coordination to one of Worley's most important field functions. As the Lead Package Walkdown Coordinator, you will help align construction, field engineering, quality, and client teams so that every Inspection Walk Package (IWP), Test Work Package (TWP), Construction Work Area (CWA), and Request for Package Completion (RFPC) walkdown flows smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a role for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and clarity-and who enjoys being the steady, informed presence in a fast-moving field environment.
Purpose of the role
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all package walkdowns in alignment with hydrotesting and construction schedules. You ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time, with the right information-creating a trusted link between Quality, Field Engineering, Construction, and our client. While this is not a management position, you will act as a knowledgeable “field general,” guiding activities, anticipating obstacles, and driving accountability across stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Coordinate and control the flow of all IWP, TWP, CWA, and RFPC package walkdowns for the Worley Quality team.
Develop, maintain, and communicate walkdown schedules that align with hydrotesting and construction priorities.
Collaborate closely with Field Engineering to ensure readiness, documentation accuracy, and sequence alignment.
Facilitate client participation by providing timely notifications, clear expectations, and well-organized walkdown events.
Track progress, issues, and required follow-up actions in a structured, transparent manner.
Generate regular reports summarizing walkdown status, constraints, completions, and any items requiring leadership support.
Serve as the operational point of contact in the field-ensuring walkdowns begin on time, participants understand their roles, and all steps are completed to Worley standards.
Identify bottlenecks early and work collaboratively to resolve them before they impact schedule.
Maintain meticulous records of packages, punch items, and completions to support turnover and quality objectives.
