Essential Job Duties Conduct comprehensive daily inspections of electrical and IT systems across building and terminal construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project specications, review and interpret construction documents including blueprints and shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Demonstrates strong prociency in preparing comprehensive daily inspection reports that clearly document the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and HOW of all observed construction activities, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and accountability in tracking progress and identifying issues, deciencies, or safety concerns in a timely manner. Verify contractor compliance with local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70, 70E, 72) and client-specic standards. Track and document time-and-material work, eld changes, and job quantities Assist in validating contractor progress payment requests based on an approved schedule of values. Support special inspections and testing activities, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and third-party agencies as needed. Perform inspections of electrical installations including, but not limited to: Underground utilities and duct banks High-voltage switchgear and electrical panels Conduit racks, conductors, and grounding systems Interior and exterior lighting systems Fire life safety systems including smoke/heat detectors and FM-200 suppression systems Electrical shutdowns, lockout/tagout procedures, and breaker coordination Inspect IT infrastructure installations such as: Low-voltage systems (voice/data, security, access control) Door card readers, security cameras, and public address (P.A.) systems Communication cabling and equipment rooms Hardware/Software Knowledge Knowledge of Project Management Information Software used for inspection/document control (i.e., Microsoft Oce, Outlook, Xcel, Word, PM Web, Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, etc.).
