Only qualified candidates will be considered. Sponsorship or Relocation is not available. Essential Functions: Consult with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work. Prepare daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules in accordance with CDR Maguire's and Owner's requirements. Check shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations. Keep records of quantities and cost of materials and verify used delivered materials conform to the contract documents. Prepare contractors' periodic progress payment claims and recommends payment. Ensure compliance with the contract documents by the contractor and the contractor's health and safety plan. Check contractor's layout and verify accuracy. Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, sit, and stand; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Infrequently perform manual labor and work in adverse weather conditions. Other Principal Duties: Travel as required and as it relates to above duties or as directed by supervisor. Provide positive attitude to establish competence and pride in the company. After inspection of the optics, must be able to wrap the lens to protect from scratches, stains, chips, etc. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in a reliable and consistent manner. Must accurately document the description of lenses that do not meet the surface quality requirements, segregate the nonconforming parts from acceptable lenses, and to protect the rejected lens before sending to rework (internally or externally) or transferring acceptable lenses to inventory. May use various measuring instruments to measure physical dimension (in mm and inches). Must be able to escalate observed or potential lens quality or process defects to team lead or department supervisor. Must be organized, meticulous and a conscientious worker to minimize mishandling. Lenses inspected are finished product to be built into assemblies that must be handled with utmost care. Maintain contamination control and cleanliness of the area at all times. Proper safety procedures and process controls will be followed at all times when working with solvents, sharp edges and high intensity light sources. Duties and Responsibilities: Learn each communitys covenants and restrictions as well as follow any Board requests in regards to enforcement. Establish drive order for inspection schedule. Establish re-inspection schedule. Report inspection schedule and inspection completion to the Assistant to the VP at the beginning of the month. Conduct drive through inspections noting any property violations as well as common area issues as follows: Community wide inspections Monthly (or as directed by management) Follow up inspections for Fining/Enforcement hearings The day of the communitys hearing date. To be completed and reported no later than 3pm Report all safety/security concerns immediately to the Community Manager via email. Take photographs of any violation with date stamp and attach to the homeowners record. Process all violation notices at the end of each shift. POSITION SUMMARY The Inspector is responsible for observing and monitoring the delivery of material to verify conformance to quality and quantity specifications, while ensuring that all his/her efforts are compliant with the company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Duties may include assisting with daily production operations, as well as receiving and stockpiling of materials and products. Work Environment: Scrap metal yard, outdoor all-weather conditions.
