POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is located in the Office of Executive Investigations, Public Corruption/Election Crime Unit South in Tampa (TBROC OEI Field Office). This is a full-time position responsible for the handling of election fraud/election crime investigations in the State of Florida.
SPECIAL NOTES:
This position will be located in the TBROC. The selected applicant must reside within 50 miles of the Tampa Regional Operations Center.
Moving expenses may be approved if you are relocating to TBROC from a regional office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the review and investigation of complex election fraud/election crime investigations from various origins including but not limited to, the Florida Department of State and Supervisor of Elections. Resolves various complaints made to FDLE which are not immediately subject to investigation by the Office of Executive Investigations. This position may also be called upon to support Public Corruption investigations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Five years of sworn law enforcement or sworn investigative experience, one of which must have been in the capacity of a Special Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
* College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours per year for a maximum of three years of the required experience.
NOTE: Experience as a Special Agent Trainee or a Probationary Special Agent does not count toward the one year of Special Agent experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
* Knowledge of and ability to utilize legal, acceptable, and effective investigative techniques;
* Working knowledge and understanding of law, criminal and administrative procedure applicable to general and internal investigations;

• Participate in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) with cross functional groups
Qualifications
• Must be a United States Citizen.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Min 2 years inspection or related manufacturing experience
• Must be familiar with fine pitch leads, component identification, soldering, bonding and conformal coating applications.
• Previous experience in the manufacture of aerospace electronics highly preferred.
• Must be familiar with ISO9001, AS9100, requirements.
• Must be able to organize, prioritize and multitask.
• Must be a motivated individual with a bias for action.
• Must have basis computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word
• Energetic team player that interfaces well at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to visually inspect using a microscope
• Ability to interpret drawing requirements, perform work to inspection instructions

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay: 13/hr
